Hey guys, this is my 1st thread to this site (I'm a fairly new Audiophile)

But I've searched and searched, but to no avail I had to resort to making a new thread (please no flaming, lol)
I've bought some (Fake) Tours by Dr.Dre; through a website...But does anyone have the knockoffs? I'm real curious to how they sound...good mids, highs & lows? BTW, i paid about $22 shipped...and I haven't heard the REAL ones...any feedback would be awesome thanks!

The real ones sound like crap.
 
Bass is extremely powerful and surprisingly clean. Everything else is a harsh mess of noise. At least, that's the impression I got from auditioning them at a local store.
 
I wouldn't be surprised if your fakes sounded better than the originals.

With the money you bought with those fakes, you could have bought yourself some nice sounding headphones 

(even if you bought it for cheap).

I'm sure you bought them from deal extreme, if not anywhere else.

Whether they sound better than the real ones or not, both are still far from sounding good.

Well, I got some good headphones already the koss portapros..etc..
but I dont know the tours looked appealing to me, I suppose....
and yes I got them from deal extreme (lol)...yeah sorry about posting in the fullsize section..it looked like it had
most of the activity. so the tours are garbage? especially for the price?

If you got them from deal extreme then of course they're fake lewl

From my short audition, I was convinced to never buy or recommend them. Your mileage may vary.

At a MSRP of ~$175, yes, it is an extreme rip-off, but since you just bought them for $22, it's fine.
People buy them for the looks anyways, so that is all that matters.
