Having just moved to a place where I can devote most of an entire floor to speaker-based music listening and home theater, I am looking for on line forums or magazines that instruct in those environments as well as head-fi.org does for headphones.

I seek info on speakers, music servers, room acoustics, synergies and extensions of headphone DACs and amps to room-sized systems, and even listening / viewing seating.

Is there a counterpart to head-fi.org for home theater and speaker based music systems? Any good (online) magazines, e.g. Stereophile or the like?

Thanks for your advice in advance... I have the time and willingness to learn, just need to be pointed to the right places.

Theres a couple of YouTube channels that I find helpful

You can also check out AVS forums for modern gear. AudioKarma for vintage gear. Audiogon is good for gear discussion and used audio gear for sale.

If you have a budget in mind I can suggest some stuff to research as well.

Like @Monsterzero already pointed out, AVSForum is a good site to glean for Home Theater/Audio-related inquiries. Another reputable site to check out is AVForums which is run by our cousins across the pond.

I use the above mentioned sites whenever I want speaker, TV, home theater advice.
