i never knew what genre Do make say think were but I do really like them. I have a couple songs from GYBE but i never really got into it ill give it another try as I'll try to get my hands on an EITS album.

I agree!

As much as I love GY!BE (been listening to them since their first album), I really think "The Earth..." is a much better album than GY!BE's last one.

I especially appreciate that their music is actually pretty simple but it's still very powerful and moving - sometimes less is more.

Still, I have to add: no piece of music ("post-rock" or otherwise) has ever moved me as much as the 1st track from "Lift Yr. Skinny Fists". That song has it all!

Wow Friday Night Lights is really good. Going to see if I can borrow my friend's DVD tonight. Man I swear the K1000 was designed for post rock, sounds so good.
