If you don't mind checking what the vrms is on the qudelix when the phone is maxed out and you are at a good listening level I would greatly appreciate it!It was using 3.5mm on the 5k. Looks like the last setting I actually tried last was 100 on the 5k and around 20 on my phone since it is a bit easier for me to +- on the phone. I can sure try some things out though if you need me to. I have been using them with the Jade mostly, so have not tried a lot of the settings in the Qudelix app.
Whoa. Those seem like really recent builds out of the factory. Mine's July even if I just bought them and hopefully doesn't turn out with any issues. They have gone back now but I think they were dated September 2022.
I confirmed my new ones are from August too. @ericpalonen is there any reason some people would be requiring more juice on their IE600s vs others?I think August but i can't remember more than that. My new is also august iirc but I can confirm tomorrow
There are a lot of variables here so it would be tough to tell without putting them side by side using the same signal chain. The biggest variable however is personal volume preference and what is "loud enough". There is no standard for that. The transducers use an automated process but also have a significant testing phase to ensure pairs are matched to razor thin tolerances against the spec benchmark. That said it's possible there is a difference but statistically unlikely.I confirmed my new ones are from August too. @ericpalonen is there any reason some people would be requiring more juice on their IE600s vs others?

That's fair. I'm just trying to figure out if anything is wrong with my chain since my 5k is saying I'm putting in about .5VRMS which sounds great to me but based on the sensitivity of the IE600 that would be like 110db which is crazy loudThere are a lot of variables here so it would be tough to tell without putting them side by side using the same signal chain. Totally, it's a Tripowin Zoe cable 2.5 - mmcx. I wanted a balanced cable and I heard that the Tripowin mmcx connectors work for Sennheiser IEMs which I can concur is the case. It's a snug fit and doesn't spin like the stock cable (which I like) and it's better in pretty much every regard to the stock cable imo. It's got zero microphonics, it's pretty tangle resistant and it's very light. The stock cable with the memory works would pull the IEMs out of my ears while doing chores around the house but that is not the case with these.Good looking cable - care to share the details and impressions?
Apologies, do you still need me to test this out? Got buried at work and totally forgot about doing that.If you don't mind checking what the vrms is on the qudelix when the phone is maxed out and you are at a good listening level I would greatly appreciate it!
if you could i would definitely appreciate itApologies, do you still need me to test this out? Got buried at work and totally forgot about doing that.
I was also looking at Linsoul yesterday. Tripowin Perles actually got my attention. Mainly because it has the same braided structure as the Labkable Takumi II hehe. I might get it just for random stuffs, my IE600 is set with Effect Audio Cadmus.IE600 with new cable

75-80mV normal nice listening level. Max 224mV is about the most I would listen if I really want something loud, beyond that is a bit much for me. I do like music on the louder side, but 75mV is pretty nice to hear everything well.if you could i would definitely appreciate it
Hmm yeah then I think something in my chain is messed up. It's some combination of issues with my qudelix, IE600 and/or my ears because listening at 75-80mV is a whisper for me. ~200mV is quiet but I guess listenable. I get no bass impact until about ~350mV and it doesn't get unbearable until ~580mV75-80mV normal nice listening level.
