Tried the IE600. Not a fan and i won't recommend it.

I have high expectations for it due to the hype. Don't get me wrong, IE600 is a good product but there are better options in the market. Time will tell if this is a successful product.

For example, Oriolus Traillii is the benchmark for TOTL flagship IEMs after a period of time.
The Traillii cost 6000$...😂

I think you missed the fact that the IE-600 is 700$ and not 7000$.

Nope. The IE600 is at 699.95 USD MSRP. The ISN EST50 cost 459 USD and it is superior. Driver configuration is 2 EST + 2 BA + 1 DD. If cheaper or similarly priced IEMs can compete with the IE600 to the extent of being superior to it then the IE600 isn't that good for its price point right? I am just sharing my experience. Recommend you to try more IEMs. Cheers.

TFZ No.3 TI (299 USD)
ISN EST50 (459 USD)
iBasso IT04 (499 USD)
Mofasest Trio (499 USD)
Tansio Mirai Land (599 USD)
Oriolus Isabellae (659 USD)
Acoustune HS1677 SS (699 USD)

You talked about the Orioles Trailli, which is in fact a 7000$ headphone.

It would help if you would describe on which aspect of the IE600 you base your opinion. Please share what the IE600 lacks for you.

Frequency response and perception of it is highly individual and there is a good chance you just like the emphasis differently. I for example can’t stand a peak at 8000Hz and like a headphone to have more of a full bodied bass and a little warmth. BA drivers don’t deliver naturally for me compared to dynamic drivers. I would love to have someone elses hearing for a day, but that’s what I hear.

Maybe you should have mentioned these in your initial post? Instead you only mentioned the Trailli in your first post, thus my questioning regarding the price difference...

Even tho just saying that the IE-600 sucks and then just listing other IEMs isn't helpful at all.

Also a most of the IEMs you mentioned seems to be products I'd have to import, which would make them substantially more expensive than what you listed and much more difficult/expensive aftersales service compared to a global company like Sennheiser.

IMO 1x DD is a huge unique selling point for the IE600 since its so much smaller/more comfortable
e.g. all those IEMs you listed are roughly ~3x larger than IE600
Although yea, the IE600 is not insane value like the ER2/S12/Timeless/Blessing2

Yea that's why i have enhanced it with a newer post.

Yup you are right. For me, I only care about sound quality and IE600 can't compare to those mentioned IEMs. Cheers.

Sound quality is of utmost importance for me.

Curious if you've heard the IE900 and how you think it compares to the list of IEMs you provided or any other flagships.

Idk if a single DD vs hybrid/tribrid is a fair comparison...each configuration has their strengths and weaknesses.

For single DDs, I use 1695 TI & LUNA. I understand they are not as accessible as IE900 but they are superior. From experience, IEMs from mainstream brands can't perform as well. I only care abt sound quality.

Crinacle rated IE600 best single DD on top of Luna and IE900.

Your best may be worst for me.

When you reach certain level it's the matter of preference rather than which is superior.

Everyone has an opinion. For me, I will not recommend IE600. You can ask @Xinlisupreme for example. All his IEMs are recommended by me.

As an audio reviewer I expect a bit more than just "I don't like it, I don't recommend it"
I don't consider myself a reviewer but a hobbyist. I just enjoy giving my opinions on gears. Unlike other reviewers, I earn no monetary benefits. Other reviewers have affiliate links, sponsored posts and ad banners. (Look at the 2 Hs)

Due to no financial incentives for me, I am free to say what I like. Majority of paid reviewers don't have the freedom to recommend a particular product they truly like, they just promote everything. Everything is recommended by them. FYI, I paid for my TOTL gears. :)

See the last review on my site back in October 2021. I am not obliged to write reviews.

You really should learn to be more diplomatic if you expect people to take you seriously.

Sorry I don't shill everything. :p

No need for me to be diplomatic. Explain why there are audiophiles following my recommendations for years?

You prefer someone to shill everything under the sun compared to someone who gives his own personal opinion?

For the record, I see you joining THL soon? Be transparent and let everyone know if you will get monetary benefits. Cheers.

I thought of just not responding, but ok. First, there's a big difference between 'shilling' and running down otherwise excellent products as 'inferior'.

Second, I see you treat your peers with about as much respect as the products you purport to enjoy. For the record, I do not get paid for my time, experience, or engagement in the review process. Sure, I get products sent to me for review, but I'm not getting remunerated for my time, which would be far in excess of the retail price of these items if I were to charge professional consulting rates. Moreover, I have never, or will ever, base my reviews on value or monetary incentive. If a product has issues, I'll make that clear, and where it shines, I'll sing its praises. I always err on the side of constructive criticism, preferring to build up (or criticise) on merit, rather than by bashing other products, opinion or not. Mostly I just describe what I hear.

Just because you're entitled to an opinion doesn't mean you have the right to be callous and vindictive. But hey, it's an open forum, so I guess those who choose to be influenced by you are free to do so.

This will be my last word on the issue. You have earned only the second ever spot on my ignore list. Congrats.
