Thank you Joe. I put my order in yesterday, a day early and woke up this morning to the automated email and new price. I'm really looking forward to hearing them and will be reviewing them on my forum, DIY Audio Heaven.

Over the past year, I've been converted to Fiio.

Started with X1 and decided to use a Mont Blanc with it. Loved it, so went for the X3 for the digital out and then bought an Ifi Micro idsd. Absolutely brilliant combo.

Then, I just couldn't resist topping off with the X5 and dsd files.

I have to say, I really respect Fiio's 'open' nature both in the way you honestly describe your gear and take criticisms on the chin. I loved the way that you described the Fiio iem as a Dunu!! Very honest.

I've followed X1, X3 and X5 threads from the start and my respect for the company and the way it deals with customers, including your offer of review iem's which was so open that I decided to buy them. You obviously have great trust in your products and really have worked well with customers.

Pleasure Joe. It's just something that perhaps many Headfiers might take for granted and as customers, I guess many are suspicious of commercial ventures. However, there are few that work with customers in the way that you guys have done in the development of the daps and now the start of iem's with a great price reduction.

There are few companies where you see or have person taking everything on the chin as you have. Sure, people appear when there's something to sell, but support and amateur criticism is another thing. I love the way that things have developed via customer feedback. A unusual model but creates great confidence in the product so good for everyone really.

I'm guessing that you mean the link from the email? If so, mine took me straight there so there is probably something amiss.

It won't be because you're in Italy. I'm in the UK and mine was fine. Wait until Joe gets to you.

I also presume that you have your code?

The pre order date finished yesterday if you haven't already done it, so the link might not work because the ordering period is over.

One was that the code was no longer valid, and two ( as well as most troubling) I am told thy can not do business with residents of Washington State?

I suggest that you pm FiiO again, tell them that you cannot buy from aliexpress because you live in Washington State, and ask them to set up a direct transaction. Can you access paypal?

Yes, the Aliexpress system should give you our tracking number once we have shipped it
