It all depends which equipment you are using, the whole chain needs to be in order.I own a DMP-A6 Master Edition and could not be happier. I have tried other streamers, mostly Wiim and Bluesound: the only worth owing, in my opinion, among those, is the Wiim Ultra. It doesn't cost much more than the Plus and it is worth. Its DAC section is nice, the mobile app is excellent. I kept that one after acquiring the Eversolo, just moved in my studio.
I chose the Master Edition because I intended to take advantage of its DAC section and that turned out a winning choice. I can't praise it enough, just consider that I ended up preferring it to 3 R2R DACs (Serenade, EF499, Fiio K11 R2R) and, this I realky didn't see it coming, a Chord Qutest. Well, almost. I did not exactly prefer the Eversolo DAC section to the Qutest, but I hardly detected any difference in the 3 weeks I tested the Chord, which was then returned: I could not justify keeping it when I could not safely tell them apart.
So, yes, the DAC section in the DMP-A6 ME exceeded my expectations and leaves nothing to be desired (I am no longer chasing those phantomatic, elusive pieces of gear that take your listening pleasure to new highs.
Tested with the following amplifiers: Serenade, EF499, A70 Pro, L70, SMSL H400, Zen CAN v3, Massdrop CTH, Cayin HA-3A and HA-2A.
what matter is what you are happy with, the rest does not matterFor my ears, the A6 ME is much more than a decent music reproducer.
I remember the hesitation I had when buying it because it really looks good and I tend to be sceptical of nice looking products: I want my money to go in sound quality or functionality and could not care less about look. Well, I am now confident to say that this has it all and, while this, I didn't need to send it back which would have been rather easy to do.
More expensive DACs turned out to be placebo for me.
As it usually goes... Enter the market with an underpriced, cool product, make some waves, gain some following and then increase prices on new products.I’m afraid that the price level won’t be that customer-friendly anymore…
Alright, so T8 won't be available until the end of the year and we don't know the price yet. I wonder, how much of a difference the femto clock will make. The Play is priced quite reasonably.Re price:
Well it is the Munich HIGH end show

Remote is a must for myself, also bought a Samsung tablet just used for the A6, mainly used for experimenting with the PEQ as trying to change via the A6's screen is a nightmare.I just bought the remote, wow it is a shame it's not included with the Gen 2!
That`s how it is....As it usually goes... Enter the market with an underpriced, cool product, make some waves, gain some following and then increase prices on new products.
So finally, EverSolo made a streamer only, and it is not the EverSolo 'Play' 'streamer amp' that they announced a few days ago. I wonder, how much this T8 costs and what the difference is in the internals versus the A6 streamer.
I am only interested in the T8 and hoping for a sub $1K price. Where did you get the idea of 2600 euro? That`s how it is....
So the combo should be:
- streamer T8 - EUR 2.600,- (speculative).... or will there be a T10 later on...?
- DAC Z10 - EUR 2.600,- (speculative)
- AMP-F10 - EUR 2.600,-
Total - EUR 7.800,-
But hey, maybe I`m wrong. If the summary price is between 4.000 and 5.000 EUR, I`d kick some older units and get this combo...![]()
