Hey everyone.

Just curious to know if anybody's ever owned a pair of circumaural cans where your ears never became warm, or only did so after an extended period of time (say 3-4 hrs). I thought for sure picking up a set of open phones after trying so many closed ones that my ears would stay nice and cool, but they got warm in about the same amount of time (1 hr)

Damn, my open 'phone experience is with the AD700s.... 1hr of Left 4 Dead or just watching a movie and they were starting to heat up!

The Sony MDR V-600's I used weren't too bad, sitting in a room temperature, uh, room...

Sennheiser HD202's and similarly shaped models, on the other hand, *shudder*

They stay pretty cool, yes.
My ears stay pretty cool as well when I am wearing the Beyers though.

AKG 701 is the coolest most comfortable can Ive ever used. Then the Yuin OK1 in an earbut style, dont even know you are wearing them and they sound like a full sized can!
