Hey, my hf5 were destroyed after 2.5 years of extreme use i want exactly what i had(SQ wise).
As the drivers are the same i want one of them. im thinking of the headphones as for music but i think about using them for my Samsung galaxy s2 as well.
I know they support the galaxy s2 with the volume control but do they control the volume for the cowon x7? does anyone have experience with this construction?

It may works but you have to try yourself and if they are supporting SGS then X7 willwork with them.

I'm trying to see if theres someone who already tried it.. learning from the experience of others.
Im ordering it from the u.s. so i can't really check it out.
