Took me a while but finally got my Etymotic EVO to review out. Hopefully, this might prove useful to you.

Quick correction: the IEM cable connectors are T2 (not MMCX).
I saw you added a comment about it at some point, but I think you should correct it throughout the review so you do not confuse people.

I believe that the source is as important as earphones/headphones.
I see that majority of reviews never mention the source.
So when you go through all of the reviews you can find absolutely opposite opinions on a certain subject. I think this is manly due to different sources used by reviewers.

Regarding the Evo, it needs a very good source to perform.
