Hey guys, I received today my 4P to S adapter, I paired it with a Fiio E5 I had at home and I'm not blown away with the sound quality. To be true, I prefer the 4P alone. 
 
Should I get a better amp or my adapter isn't very good?
 
My source is a SGS with Voodoo Sound.

The ER4P are better out of SGS HP jack and sound won't improve much even with better AMPs, mini cable, P to S adapter because SGS don't have true lineout and external AMPs need line out signals to amplify for better sound experience.
