Around a week and a half if you buy the faster shipping, which I recommend.Pulling the trigger on the R10s tomorrow. What's the turn-around time been for US buyers here?

Any more impressions, or is the honeymoon wearing off?

Working on it. I still want to add a few more comparisons. Now that I've sold some stuff recently, I'm getting close to making another purchase to compare the es-r10 to. Also I'm passing 100hrs of burn in today-so I'm halfway to 200hrs.Any more impressions, or is the honeymoon wearing off?
Also in case protoss finds out. I just recieved a audio technica w10vtg from Japan (the first woodie from this brand I think). From my first listening session with it I think it may become my favorite audio technica that I've heard to date. It has a really nice engaging warm sound. Maybe I'll compare it to the es-r10, beside the one other headphone I had in mind...
The fascination and appreciation is not wearing off. I really love them. Of course it's early days for me. When I first got the SR1a I thought I could live with those alone for quite some time. I'm glad I still have other options now, still very much love the SR1a too. I like to shift around from headphone to headphone and also between amps. I'm a new Holo May owner as well and combining HQPlayer with that has been a real revelation.Any more impressions, or is the honeymoon wearing off?
Looking seriously at the Omega clone, protoss is right, this company should be taken seriously. If he had an HE90 clone I would buy it right away.

The legendary W10VTG! Nice. I love and adore that headphone. Its a headphone of coloration masterpiece. It is my top 3 Audio Technical. W10VTG, W11R and L3000/L5000.
Release in 1996 as the first woodie. The owners wanted to price it at $2500. The Same price as the R10 at that time. They came to their conclusion for a mass production unit and end up selling it for $400. I believe close to 3000 units before moving on to the next woodie.
I'm somewhat jelly, probably will own 10 of those one day
Small review on it mid page - https://www.head-fi.org/threads/audio-technica-the-master-of-wood.928704/

ES-HP1000
ES-L3000 (Need to make sure you have Connolly leather, can use the same driver as the ES-R10) - If you ever attempt? Dye the leather light blue There's already a orange, yellow and green version.
How would you say the R10 compares to the AWKT?@omega1990

@justanut
The Awkt is similar to L5000 and W5000.
Bright, thin, mid forward, not metallic, big sound, detail. Its more on the technical side.
The Es-R10 is somewhat the opposite. Thick, euphoric, warm, natural, non-harsh, smooth. But has all the detail and abilities of flagship headphones.

Awesome! Just got the go-ahead from the wife for my birthday haha... she still doesn't know about the HA-6A I'm so screwed when that arrived in June... but heck, I'll have 2 months of ear-nirvana before I head off to the afterlife@justanut

The Cayin HA-6A looks like a beast.
Just say to her that's a place holder for all our light bulbs

Doing a bit of critical listening.
All 24 bit flac files.
Vaughan Williams and many more.
The ES-R10 has all the resolution, detail as the ES-Omega.
The Es-Omega has more air and bass. Just like the OG R10 the bass is weak. If you only listen to classical and acoustic it's great
The bass on the ES-Omega is pretty good for estats.
The ES-R10 has great texture. Top notch

I haven't heard a pair of electrostatics in 12 years. Last one was a 007mk1 + stock SRM717 combo. Might be time to revisit once again. Between the CCS moded 717 and 006TS, which one do you think pairs better with the ES-OMEGA ? Did you order the CCS mod kit yourself or was it from Mjolnir?

All amps serviced by spritzer.
007mk1 + stock SRM717 combo is an amazing combo. Nothing beats the 717. Its STAXs best amp ever built. Now re-reviewing my take on the OG T2. The 717 was better than it. OG T2 was actually muddy sounding. The only thing it did right was showing the community that a beast can be unleashed if tweaked properly.
Ranking them I list it like this.
717
727 <- you can mod this to sound like a 717
313 <- Simple low version of the 717
006TS <- This is a better version of the T1 series.
T1W
T1S
OG T2
I know its shocking And the crazy thing is a stock 717 is better than all those amps and in mod mode its next to carbon and beyond.
The 007MK1 is better than the ES-Omega.
Ranking:
007MK1
OG Omega
ES-Omega
009S
009
007MK2
L700
At least its in 3rd place

The 717 sounds better. No matter what phone you place on the 717 it will sound better. But the 006TS is enough for it. 5 on the volume for the 006TS is all you need.Between the CCS moded 717 and 006TS,
The 007MK1 is better than the ES-Omega.
