Hey Matt. Where can you buy adapter for EL11 to fit the UltimatE?.

This will work with EL11 and to be used in the 6y6 power slots. You cannot use this in the 6J5 slots - remember that.

There isn't a EL11 to 6J5 adapter yet. Perhaps you can ask MrsX to make one.

My low profile Oblivion sounds great with closed headphones, great sound stage. I use it with ZMF VC and Eikon.

Oblivion has the widest soundstage of all the tube amps I've heard. I use it with ZMF Verite LTD Open at one time.

Have you tried EL11 instead of EL3N? I have heard both in Euforia and I have heard EL11 in Ultimate. I prefer EL11 but EL3N will sound warmer if that is what you're looking for.

I have received my GEC 807 ATS25 in brand new sparkling condition. In terms of built and robustness, it is better than EL38, EL39, EL12 spez. The glass is thick. Base is tight and top cap very secure. Been listening to it for a day and tone is very good and right up there with the Fab 4.

Just one picture because I still intend on creating a McChanson tube rolling thread, to keep it separate from a McChanson amps appreciation thread which I will also be creating.

With all due respect, I for one would appreciate a single thread - there is room for everything there pertaining to McChanson Ultimate amps.

It’s not just for Ultimate amp. It’s for the whole range of McChanson amps and already I have people telling me they can’t find the info about amps in it easily with all the tube rolling.

Also as I am not the OP, I have no means to edit the 1st post to link the important information.

Yep that’s fair enough, I am looking to buy a McChanson speaker amp soon and it is hard to find info amongst the 660 pages here , I for one don’t mind separate threads, I will read and post in all

Eric is providing details and pictures of his various speakers and headphone amps.

There will be write ups for cutiE, gEm, UltimatE, SupremE, whispEr, 300b, 6L6GC, KT170 amps in SE or Push Pull.

It will be done in the next few days.

Agreed - either left side or middle - I think it looks too busy when it is placed in front of the tubes.
