That is why I am not getting more tubes because I have too many already. Just using those that I bought years ago. Like the 2 pairs of c3g.

Wise words, Matt. Last evening I rolled in my mighty GEC KT88 power tubes, bought several years ago for Feliks Elise. Driver is Amperex Bugle Boy 12AU7 drivers, and the result was profoundly wonderful sound. I cannot wait to get back to UltimatE after work.

Ok... I was wondering when you're going to get that pair of GEC KT88 in. That is my most precious of all tubes. It's under lock and key now having done just 30 hours since new. Paid AUD$1100 for it from my tube supplier Tony 2 years ago.

Sylvania 6J5gt, Siemens c3g and RFT EZ81.

Supreme with
RCA 6J5gt, Miniwatt 45, RCA 6BW4.

Both set to Miflex kpcu-01 caps.

Ultimate sounds better to my ears. Maybe I don't need Supreme. Song is Keith Don't Go.

The best sound ever becomes The New Normal. After a while the excitement wears off but you can’t be without that sound. But you are craving that wow feeling you felt the first time you heard that combination.

Woke up to 27 likes. I'm likeable.

No I am talking about the tube. That new pair pf GEC KT88 with original boxes cost me AUD$1100 and I mean new. That is consider cheap. Check eBay for new GEC KT88 price if you can find any.
