When it comes to playing musical instruments, I've always been terrible. Age has nothing to do with it. 🤣

I'm busy looking at seats for November 2. The Eagles....and Steely Dan together. The fact that the arena where they are playing is only 30 minutes from my house is a big plus. Tickets don't go on sale for another couple days, but I'm guessing they'll be in the "if you have to ask" price range 'cause I want to be in Section 2.

I would love to watch Eagles and Steely Dan. Please get my tickets too and make sure it Section 2 and not 215 or we might need binoculars.

It shouldn't be that hard to tell them apart. @UntilThen 's will be upside down, right? 🤣

There is a reason why my Redgum heatsink is below.

Last test for Peter's Ultimate before it's boxed up. With some of my best tubes. Mullard ECC35, Tung Sol 6550 and Tesla EZ81. This is the pinnacle. One of the 7 peaks. :)

There is a lot invested in this Junior Wood Ultimate and the results shows both in looks and sound.

I'm testing stock tubes as Eric ask me to, for Bryant's Ultimate. Sound is a bit raw from brand new tubes but other then that, it is quiet and a pretty good listen. Tubes are GE 12AT7, Matsushita 6Y6G and Sylvania 6BW4. Turns out this photo is very nice. Hope it wins an award in the Photo Contests 2023.

Great looking amplifier; impressive woodwork also. It reminds me of the plinth for the Linn Sondek turntable 🙂.

You have the same tubes that I have. VT52 is equivalent to EL32. Both my pairs are Mullard. You have a Telefunken VT52 which is unusual and rare. Congrats.

I have swapped xlr and rca input from Yggdrasil on both Super Gold Ultimate and Junior Wood Ultimate. Everything is fine and as expected, the amp that has xlr input from Yggdrasil, sound the best, with higher gain and greater dynamics.

LCD5 is sounding great on the Junior Wood Ultimate with Mullard ECC35 and Tung Sol 6550. These tubes alone cost AUD$900 and that is cheap because I got the TS 6550 cheap(er) from TonyTheTubeMan. :)

This is a million dollar amp. I am burning up precious tube goodness here.

If you have experience a good Tung Sol 5998, you will know that the Tung Sol 6550 is 5 times better than that. I was going to say 10 times but I will be a bit more gentle.
