I can't imagine who would buy this. Instead buy a mid-tier amp a pair of Elrog 300B or go on vacation. Insane.

But Ultimate is jitter hum and hiss free. Quantum Science? Do they have an AI plug?

EL39 will remain in Ultimate until the amp is burned in at ~150 hours. Drivers might get changed but the power tube will remain and be burned in together with the amp.

At a fraction of the cost of GEC KT88, I prefer EL39. Don't deplete the stock please.

My problem is being stuck with Fivre 6A6. I can't seem to be able to move on. Maybe when the adapter for 6N7G comes.

Indeed, Fivre 6N7G is excellent. And looks quite close to your 6A6. Most probably only the base is different. Mine are from '42.
