I did long ago. Might learn a lesson from you and start selling some of my "entry level" amps?
probably should start by offloading Cavalli Liquid Platinum and Gilmore Lite mk2... Both are great, but get zero head-time for a while now!
Edit: or maybe learn from @jonathan c and keep some in the closet, and rotate once in a while, instead of keeping everything plugged and ready!
What fuse does the UltimatE actually have installed in terms of value?
Thanks for the clarification about the 6j5 tube.
I assume that it will not work with the adapter and 2x6J5 tubes in the UltimatE because otherwise it would draw 12.6 volts in total, which would be too much I guess as a driver tube.
As an output tube I'm not sure if it would work.
As far as amps are concerned, I'm currently limiting myself to 2 with the UltimatE, but I can't say yet that there will be more.
It is possible that another one could come from Eric.
In terms of space, I'll have to think about something.
Does your lady boss at home know what you're doing, lool.
The tubes will certainly hang above the children's bed later and glow so beautifully orange to help the future child to fall asleep, hahaha.
Hopefully the future child will be called UltimatE,hehe.
You bought beautiful tubes, I'm also keen on the Sylvania.
I bought a couple of Raytheons at a great price and in great condition.
16 hours into burn in of Ultimate. I'm using Telefunken ECC801S and Radiotron 6F6G with a new RCA 6BW4 rectifier for burn in. Burn in is just listening to music.
Have swap back to using Susvara. Ultimate drives Susvara very well for my purpose and I love vocals with this combination. Ultimate feels smooth and polished but vibrant and alive. One of the most energetic tube amp I've come across.
Even with just 16 hours under it's belt, Ultimate is very listenable. No rough edges. Just a capable amp that has control of any of my headphones.

Yeah okay.
Thank you for asking eric,
But I also think that 12.6 V with 0.6-0.8 amps could be critical as a driver.
Since 6sn7 needs an average of 6.3v and between 0.3-0.4 amps.
Makes it go quite comfortably with 16h burn in.
I've read that the Mundorfs are already at full power from 20h onwards.
They get a little better when they have more hours on them.
But I still have to play in all my tubes with the amplifier,.
I have seen a Telefunken 803S but at a very high price.500-600 Au $.
I might also be able to get my hands on a few Kt66 Gec, I'm currently clarifying this.
That would be really great if it works out.

If you plan on investing on NOS power tubes, then just get one pair of each. It's going to hurt the pocket but it's a great experience sampling them all. The Pentode and Beam Tetrode are a great family of power tubes.
Otherwise just stay with 6*6 family or the equivalent EL84.
If there is 6.3v supplied adding a double valve socket does not affect the voltage, there is still only 6.3 volts available but the current load will increase.

I looked again and it's a tele ECC801S.
The one you have, but 300€ is also a lot for such a small mini tube.
The one you posted is extremely expensive.
My wife will definitely kill me.
If you really want to buy fuses, then Refine Audio.
It doesn't add anything, it just makes certain things better.
I have them in 3 systems and I'm happy with them.
But currently hard to get for whatever reason.
It doesn't cost much, less than the SR purpel.
