as the instructions don't say anything about it, are we supposed to leave the end caps (not the acoustic resonator tube) on?

searching the forum, people have used it both ways. what do you use? how does it effect sound? i'd imagine with it on the highs would be attenuated a little more.

also, i saw this:

where on the second page, the baby-blues are a little less even which kindof upsets me. hopefully i can just throw on regular tri-flanges and and it will be the same.

You mean the clear part over the colored part right? To the best of my knowledge you don't take anything off. That's how I wear them at least.
