@ EFN: Will the Minibox-E+ sound good with other IEMs?

If I ever get a set of cans, they will be used with a desktop setup, since I wouldn't use them to travel with.

Thanks again!

Yes it will. I even plugged my cheap Sennheiser MX400 to it and it sounded good. mrarroyo has been using MiniBox-E+ with a variety of other cans and he liked it slightly more than SR71 and Xin Reference - which is quite a statement considering the other two amps are pretty much icings on the cake.

MiniBox-E+ is a flexible amp. When using ER-4, bass boost should be switched on. When using other cans, you can turn it off - simple.

The pico will replace the soundcard. It's basically a usb soundcard built into the amp.

Then you use a mini to mini to hook up whatever you're listening with on your commute.

he's using an ipod; so a cheapish LOD would be better than a MINI2MINI cable but yeah I cant recommend the pico enough for its dac. the amp is good too, but is easily beaten by my lisa III
