haha wa6se seems to be both out in the market and out of my new budget of 500, but any one have a wa3 that they can compareto a good vintage receiver?

ps: for those of  u who who wonder where i got this weird/false idea of receiver not as good as dedicated headphone amps http://news.cnet.com/8301-13645_3-10166132-47.html

Hey Dubstep how's the 325i coming along on the WA6-SE?

Really thinking about the WA6-SE as my forthcoming amp to compliment my V200 ~ eventual goal is to snare a PS1000
so I had to ask :)

the 325 just loves tubes. super smooth while maintaining a nice dynamic sound. i never find the 325 too bright or harsh like some of the people on head-fi do.

the WA6-SE just loves grados, my rs1 sounds great on them as well.  im sure the ps1000 will sound great out of the WA6SE as well.

i bet all of you will laugh at me after i say this because we never talked about the mx1 and i plan to get it just because im an ignorant child who wants to compare dedicated amps to stero amps and the review on
http://www.head-fi.org/t/510014/my-new-audinst-hud-mx1-unboxing-warning-tons-of-pics-includes-schiit-asgard really got me moved to get one.

to me the WA3 sounds better with the hd 650 than a vintage receiver.

its got more detail with better dynamics and better control.
the 3 is a good match for hd 650 if you like tubes

both of those amps are great combos for the hd 650.

i use my WA6SE which gives the hd 650 alot of energy and dynamics.

the WA2 is a little too warm at times, but still a good combo.

i know the WA3 is otl as well, but alot more neutral, so it should be perfect for the hd 650s.
