Hi,
my question to you is:

Should I buy an Empire Ears Legend X (~2300-2500) for portable and home use
or
a Campfire Audio Atlas(~1300) for portable + a Headphone (~1000-1500) for home use.

My source is the ifi BL Micro and V30.

I haven't heard the LX but the Atlas is awesome. I have seen people rank the LX above the Atlas and vice versa-- ideally you should listen to them both and decide which one you like better. That said variety is nice so maybe the Atlas plus another iem with a differing but complementary sound signature would be the way to go

Atlas is at warmer side. The soundstage is wider at Legend X - One of the widest I can find. The bass presentation for both are good. I prefer the one from Legend X - Deeper like sub woofer. Fitting is better for Legend X too.
