Most of you have over 100 hours of burn-in on your Shadow by now.
I would like to hear your full impressions as to how your Shadow sounds with your source & phones. Please list what music you listened to & also list your potable rig.
I would like to remind all friends that the grace period is over with. No more intro price nor the waiting period for those who posted for one, at intro price, but did not pay by the 15th of this month.
The Shadow is, NOW, at normal price of $395.00 plus shipping.
Thanks
Ray Samuels

I have to say it sounds great, The best sound I have ever heard from a portable headphone rig. I listen to all kinds of music using my Iphone 3Gs and Ipodtouch with Moon-Audio LOD and Audio Technica's ATH-M50s, ATH-AD700and Sennheiser PX-100. Female vocal sound amazing, Diana Krall The girl in the other room sounds just out of this world. I am waiting from a new low profile LOD from Mr Ted Peisly (The Cable Pro him self) which I know Is going to sound even better than the moon audio. The sound is balanced , strong enough for loud listeners like myself, vocals are great even the soundstage is amazing, the separation of the instrument and the singers voice is great.
I was thinking about trying the ALO RX, but I think that there is no need , I love the sound and built quality of this little beuty. Great work Mr Ray.

I received this the following day after talking with Ray. Now that is great customer service.

I am using it with my JH13PRO headphones and the first time I listened I notice an overall improvement in the music. I had been using a RAL silver LOD but the RSA LOD has made the music presentation more natural.

Thanks Ray.

That thing is an unbelievable value. The only thing close to it costs (I forget exactly) like 265.00. Enjoy !!!!

Ray, I mentioned wanting one of these babies earlier in the thread, but must have missed the instructions for payment totals. Will look for that ASAP and send payment.

I think the LOD is cheaper or the same price as the mini to mini because the connectors he uses are really high quality and likely the line in to the iPod costs less than the mini connector.

More on topic, only 20 hours of burn in and the amp is opening up, comparing nicely to the predator.

I have written to Craig specifically about the possibility of a right angle mini-mini of about 6 inches in length. By my calcs, this would permit use of the Shadow in my Hippocase with the correct side of the Shadow facing outward.

Done. Thanks for the very quick response. Your customer service continues to be outstanding.

P.S. It still amazes me that there are people who think "service" does not matter so long as the product is good.

As a follow-up, Craig was very responsive. he is building me an all-right-angle connector to go along with the ALO female iMod dock connector. And we're discussing re-cabling my JH13s. [Sorry for the digression, but this info might help iMod users of the Shadow.]

How is the turn-around concerning the Shadow at the moment. Meaning, how quickly will it be shipped after payment has been done?

And would it be possible to have one in silver? I don't believe I have seen them in anything but black so far.

Just wanted to second the use of Craig's JH13 replacement cables, really a step up from the stock cables sent, opens up the sound, less "muddy" is the best way I can state it. Also, looking forward to seeing how the rt angle mini to mini looks as I may need to get one too! Been using his regaulr mini to mini up to now, if these look good, may get them and sell the other mini I have.
