Elysian Annihilator 2023

No, I haven't tried them but I'll give them a chance since you recommend them 👍 I'm currently using foam tips, they slightly soften the treble but the bass sound is worse.
You can try these black stems, if you have them around.
Is it easier to put them on?
For the life of me, I cannot put the Spinfit W1 on. (This is someone who used westone star tips on wider nozzles of Angie and U12).

Anyways, my best tips for Anni is the Simgot tips (sized up) included with SuperMix 4.

The Azla Sedna Earfit Light Short are great with Anni, but I personally don't like the fit. They are quite hard. I don't like Divinus Velvet with any headphones. The bass is muddy with Anni. The soundstage is big but I don't like it, it's so weird. I've had the Eletech Baroque for 14 days and they seem absolutely great to me, I haven't found any fault with them.. Same with Camelot and Impact. For me they are the best and most comfortable tips.

I like the Azla Max standard, I find they smooth out the high end on these ( as well as the Odin, which I also use them on). But, really, ear tips are a personal thing, I think first and foremost you need a tip that fits and seals well, then you can accurately check out how they effect the sound.

Tips should make a pretty noticeable difference with the Annihilator.

Generally, you should steer away from foam tips. As you've found, they kill upper-treble which puts the focus on the frequencies under that and, depending on the IEM's treble tuning, can actually make treble sound more 'heavy' and forward. They also result in loss of perceived resolution for the same reasons.

Final E tips, which are narrow-bore, usually have this effect albeit with tightened bass response because they're silicone and fairly rigid.

The Azla Sedna tips, in general, are tips that will make the Annihilator sound brighter and leaner. This is because they are wide-bore, so they let in more upper-treble and don't enhance bass. The Sedna Shorts (with the blue stem) are probably the most balanced of the Azla tips and (IMO) sound the best with the Annihilator in terms of the Azla tips.

Tips that I've found that take the edge off are the Azla Xelastec and DUNU clear tips (not the candy ones or the S&S, they included these with some other IEMs and you might have to dig for them). Not sure if the DUNU S&S would have the exact same effect; I'd imagine its similar, but those tips tend to work better for shorter nozzles.

The Azla Xelastec definitely have a more linear effect where they lower both the upper-midrange and upper-treble, and that's what I'd probably recommend:

Divinus Velvet tips also work pretty well for taming treble.

Personally, my favorite tips with the Annihilator are the Spinfit W1 (which are stock). But those definitely lean a little brighter.

Hope this helps! :)
You mentioned Xelastec but what do you feel about Xelastec 2. I’ve noticed these popping when I do a search.

Not the person you are quoting, but I tip-rolled my Anni 2023 quite a lot. Xelastec 2 are good, but their sound profile is completely different. I honestly like Xelastec 1 more, but Xelastec 2 seem more durable.
Otherwise, my favourite tips on Anni2023 are Sedna Shorts and Spinfit Omnis. I did order the relatively new Sedna Origin and will report my findings when I get them.

Thanks for that. I currently use the Sedna Shorts and have also used the Lights. I think these are my favourites at the moment. I do have the Spinfit Omnis but I didn’t like the sound with those. I think I’ll give the Xelastec a try.

Anyone know if the Dio is an Annihiliator replacement or a limited run (will this be Anni 24/25 or will there be a separate Anni refresh?). Saw the new eye bundle (which is already sold out) but am more interested if the iem will be sold stand alone and if anyone has had the chance for any impressions before release? The driver setup seems the same with the addition of 2 new EST’s.

Dunno about the DIO but there might be a refresh for the Annihilator 2023 using the new EST driver and maybe with a metal case similar to the apostle. regarding the tuning, maybe little to no differences besides HW upgrades.

Some IEMs aren’t just products—they’re legends. The Elysian Annihilator from Elysian Acoustics is one such masterpiece, redefining what flagship sound and design mean.

In my latest review, I cover:
-Stunning build with gold-plated and titanium faceplate options
-A tribid 7-driver setup delivering powerful bass, natural mids, and crisp treble
-Top-tier technical performance

Special thanks to Audio Geek for arranging the unit.

Watch the full review and find out if it’s worth the hype.

I recently tried corier brass tips with the Anni23. I have to say I love them. There is better overall definition between instruments, the beautiful airy, treble really shines. Perhaps most important for me, is that the bass tightens up slightly. I find the Anni bass slightly bloaty sometimes. I think these are my favorite tips yet. As always YMMV...

Thanks for sharing. Would like to try them but it's hard to roll the dice on size when they are so expensive. What size do you use with Annihilators and do you have to size up or down from your regular fit?
