Elysian Annihilator 2023

May be a disaster on Anni but a tip that I've found helps good IEMs with a bit more top end than I like is the original Sony hybrid that has been around forever. Good for dry mids as well. I'd order from a Japan seller to get the real thing. Lots of China clones that aren't necessarily bad but not the same (less texture/harmonic). Get a size up if shallow fit. https://www.ebay.com/itm/202755910826?var=502893830504

Thanks for sharing. Would like to try them but it's hard to roll the dice on size when they are so expensive. What size do you use with Annihilators and do you have to size up or down from your regular fit?
It's a good point you raise and one reason I hesitated. On aliexpress you can get single pairs for half as much. In addition, it was a black friday deal so I paid something like 12 or 13 bux.

But in answer to your question, I am size L for the stock tips and the same size for the corier's. They stick out more than normal tips, For me that works because the anni against my concha becomes annoying sometimes. So I even like the fit a bit better.

Hope this helps!

Holy Moly! I just plugged the Anni into my newly acquired Holo Bliss KTE. Normally I try to avoid hyperbole. But it's almost a different iem. More spacious, tighter bass, better note definition, perfect treble (ok that was anni's superpower, but it's mo'better). I got the bliss for the susvara, but it's simply amazing for the anni23.

Yes, Sir. Anni loves some juice.
With DC-Elite, I can hear what people are mentioning about the Anni's Bass lacking definition and separation.
I can't use Anni with anything other than Hugo 2.

Anyone know if the Dio is an Annihiliator replacement or a limited run (will this be Anni 24/25 or will there be a separate Anni refresh?). Saw the new eye bundle (which is already sold out) but am more interested if the iem will be sold stand alone and if anyone has had the chance for any impressions before release? The driver setup seems the same with the addition of 2 new EST’s.
Dio will be the new X. They will likely release with stand alone version but you can message Musicteck and ask if theyre selling non bundle which they might if the bundle isnt selling as well or maybe someone just wants the cable

Thanks that's good to know, I'll give them a shot next time I'm travelling somewhere with cheap shipping

Is the DC-Elite powerful enough to drive the Anni 23? I want to try Anni with a bit more juice going into it, but right now I don’t want to spend 2K or so on an amp. The DC-Elite though is in the right ballpark for what I’d be happy with, at least to give it a try that is.

Yes, it has plenty of power, but the pairing is not good. The mid bass bleeds in to lower-mids and lingers around longer.
I would skip the DC-Elite for Anni 23, it will be just a sidegrade to your DAPs.

This probably happens because it is not strong enough, as I experienced with the SP3000 at the time.

Anni literally opens up the more power, and this also applies to the separation between midbass and lowmids. Indeed, there is a big difference in this regard with higher gains when I use the DX320Max.

I believe that to be the case too. I don't think they have the drive at lower/listenable volumes.
I'm at 7-8 clicks from 0, there's still 2/3rd left.

Yeah 11k for an IEM, i am sure all that unicorn horn dust and adamantium costs a pretty penny but imma skip this one chief. Prices going bonkers lol.

What an insulting price tag, this is insane... I'd never buy anything from this company.
BTW I've heard the Anni 2023 recently and frankly I was expecting something better, especially considering the hype around it.

Edit : I've just seen the "Berluti leather case" as a selling argument, for an IEM, really?? Sorry but this is pathetic
