No, I really don't think so. And as I said, someone had posted in the Watercooler that he had tested and measured 4 different units of Anni 23, there were indeed deviations in the midbass and treble range, they were minimal but still clearly visible.
Well , I would like to hear someone's opinion who has heard this combo , been thinking about trying some new tips for my Anni 23 , I want to try something different then the w1's that I have been using for some time now .

Easy: you should definitely try the SpinFit NEO and Divinus Velvet Wide Bore, the SednaEarfit Short/Light is also a common pair here but which I personally don’t like. UM‘s Blue Silicon is very good in improving the vocals and trebles, but it’s hard to find.
You need tips which support Anni’s characteristics and not suppress, I would say.
hello, i have been annihilator fan for a long time but im now leaving this hobby (for the moment)
Since i sold my unused Annihilator i was looking at a cheap alternative, do you know any?
500 is the budget for something with the same timbre and taste

I have Anni2023 and owned Rn6 for few months. Technically Anni2023 is better and more refined. It is also one of my favorite sets for female vocals to date.
Rn6 also has some treble peaks that can be quite bothersome, but I fixed it with tip rolling. Bass on Rn6 is outstanding and in comparison Anni2023's bass is pillowy with too much midbass.
Comfort wise Rn6 is better because it has very small IEM shells while Anni2023 is a chonker.
Hi Guys, I'm looking to purchase a endgame set and I've decided for either the radon 6 and the anni. Which of the two has the best vocals and are they similar technically? Also how much difference is there in the treble?
Ha ha, this is a case where 2 people can hear the same things, and come away with a different conclusion based on preferences
My own preference is for more mid-bass, not less, and while I like rumbly sub-bass, it's not the most important for me. SO, I had a strong preference for Anni (and Xe6 for that matter) vs Rn6, which is a fine IEM, it's just missing out on some of the midbass that I crave in the other 2. I always thought Anni had better quality upper mids & treble than Rn6, which felt just a little 'forced' whereas Anni felt more 'effortless'.
Anyway, I'm in no way saying the @Meejay is wrong, rather which is the 'better' IEM is purely down to preferences as they are both really fantastic!

I really love both and it's down to own's preferences: it's about a warm, musical and analogic sounding set with one of the best bass in the scene (Rn6) vs a more neutral, fun and ethereal sounding set with the best treble on the scene (Anni 23).

I fully agree. I don't even bass boost linear bass on planar headphones because it is quickly too much (for me). That's why you have to find people with similar preferences. I always find it useful when someone gives their impressions of multiple IEMs because it is easier to understand their preferences.
On a side note. Mid-bass and mids are very easy to EQ compared to upper treble. So tuning Anni2023 to preferences is much easier than trying to mess with EQing upper treble.
Not sure which eartips to use with my new Anni 2023, I used to roll with Azla Sedna Light Short on my first pair of Anni 2023 but now my source is different and it is literal war between Divinus Velvet Wide Bore, Canal Works CWU-GECM and Azla Seda Light Short.
1. Divinus Velvet Wide Bore: Upper mids boost, massive soundstage boost, superior seperation more air for treble and mids. (Easy to get through nozzle)
2. Canal Works CWU-GECM: Decent staging but not as massive as Divinus Wide Bore, excellent treble texture and good bass control. Boosts midrage. (a little tough to get through nozzle, had to buy these from Amazon Japan and I have S/M/L sizes)
3. Azla Sedna Light Short: Much more forward which boosts clarity and prescense, decent bass response, vocal texture boost, very relaxing presentation despite the fowardness. I could probably fall asleep with these eartips (in a good way). (a little tough to get through nozzle but with practice it becomes easy)
I've tried other eartips like the Pentaconn Coreir but those dang Anni 2023 nozzles are just too massive, they stick back too far compared to the exit holes of the eartips. Presentation is too distant, lacking weight and body. Works well with smaller IEMs like the CA Astrolith but not the Anni. Did not like Spiral Dot Pro since they lacked "bite" and were too smooth.
These rest of my eartips have super narrow openings, could not get them through the Anni 2023 nozzle.

I kept going back to the stock W1s, but the new SpinFit NEOs work quite well as they are a little fuller. But in general I find W1 better mainly because of the emphasis on the trebles. Actually, the UM's blue tips are maybe even better because of the vocals keeping a very good trebles emphasis.
From all the IEMs I have tried, the Divinus Velvet Wide Bore are an straight upgrade over the Eletech Baroque.
Eletech Baroque feels way too soft, too soft that it causes fit problems because they may feel too small even though they're your correct size diameter wise. Not only that, the upper mids can become shouty. Divinus Wide Bore fixes these issues and offers much more.
