Elysian Annihilator 2023

Has anyone here used the Annihilator with the SP3000 series extensively?
I did. I loved it with the SP3000 but I didn't like it too much with the SP3000T. The latter sounded too thick for me with the Anni. I also use EQ with Anni, lowering the mid bass section. But that's just a personal preference as I rather like flat mid bass response.

Some will say, the Annihilator scales with more power, but I think the SP3k is enough for that IEM.

Well that's great to know. It sounded a little under powered to me. I was using the 3000T in Hybrid mode. Volume was at 70-75.. Really on the fence about the Anni 23 man...

Those eartips are really something else, swear they improve on the anni enough that they force me to re-write a part of my upcoming review. Happy that i have held onto that before publishing it!
No doubt. They may not be everyone’s favorite tips, but an Anni owner that doesn’t at least try them should face criminal charges or at least a public flogging.

They have a great deal of impact and in my experience they improved sound separation and soundstage, not to mention helped the mids come out that smidge more to lessen immensely any fault. Sincerely, i think this might be one almost perfect IEM. Can't wait to try the mcbeth against them, that will be one hell of a fight

They not only sound great, but they made a much bigger difference then the other ten or so tips I have tried. In this case, the difference was bigger AND better.

A buddy of mine received their Annihilator 2023 the other week and was looking for a cable upgrade from the stock LL Martini, ultimately looking for more bass emphasis/"oomph". Any particular recommendations for that kind of cable pairing?

Save the money and EQ to your liking?

The only downside of the stock cable is the oversized connector, imo, that makes it hard/impossible to use with some devices like iBasso and harder with others. Really a bad decision to go with that connector.

I use an Ares S Founder’s Edition, it’s a nice cable which I like and suits the anni well.

It doesn't blunt the treble too much?
