I'm working on that, may have found a better way to do this. I'll post ore soon, right now I have to go out of town for the next two days due to some family business.

Any more news on this? If you don't need 1000 of one particular value it would be doable. I would like to get an assortment I haven't decided exactly what values that I would need just yet but if you can get that pricing I would definitely get some.

Ok, sorry I haven't posted more on this recently. I was waiting to hear about a better price. Here's what I've found out so far.

1) Different source ( I can't say who/where so please don't ask)

2) Lead time is 8 weeks

3) Minimum order of 1000 pcs. per value

4) Prices:

470µF/25v - $0.60 each

220µF/35v - $0.54 each

100µF/35v - $0.21 each

I'm really only thinking of these values. We would definitely need to get as close to 1000 as possible for any other values.

Let me know what you think.

thanks,
thrice

edit for spelling

I think Mouser could order form them in quantities of 1000 because they are a distributor (I'm guessing). When I talked to a few distributors they quoted me 1000 pcs. but Elna said 25,000 pcs. for me (not a distributor).

If you're willing to post to the uk

I'd take 50 35v 100uf

It may be worth asking for a price on the silmic range too.

Thanks

The 8 week lead time sucks...

I am looking at building a Pimeta and would love to use a few of these 470uF/25V Cerafines in it, but I want to get started in a month or so here. I imagine it will be 3 months or so before this group order gets finalized.

Does anyone know where I can buy just a couple 470uF/25V Cerafines? I was originally going to use Nichicon KZs, but they ended up being way to big.

Ill take 20 of the 470uF/25V caps. I might decide to get a few more of these too.

If the order for the 470uF caps goes through I will also take:
12 220uF/35V
8 100uF/35V

I meant 220uF/35V (duh)

It has been about a month and it looks like the group buy is still several hundred short for each value. Is it time to give up?
