Hey guys, I have recently been going through some of my treasure troves of DJ mixes and electronica compilations from some of the last 23 years - from VHS, casette, CD and MP3 - I've been so blessed to still have at least some of these around, and am in the process of digitalizing the ones that I still have (lost the first 3 years!!!) There are some real timeless mind blowing sets in here, and if some of you would like, I can upload the better cuts for you to download in FLAC format... let me know!

Yeah that song was also in heavy rotation on a few US dance music stations around 1999 too.
But here's the vocal version that we heard in the US:

Still no takers on my above offer? Trust me, I got somethin' special up my sleeves if anyone wants to hear some of my retro electro mixes & complilations I've dug up, just let me know

BlakeT, Nice find. I was very interested to hear influences of Frahm, Richter and Reich on the Sasha's recent production. Looking forward to the full release. By the way, what great timing- the Nils Frahm albums Solo and Spaces have been the soundtrack of my last few weeks, so much so that I have to make a point to listen to something else.

Thanks!

Tony Colman aka London Elektricity. This guy's been on the go since the late 90's. I discovered him in 2008 and have been a big fan since.

Three of many favorite Underworld tracks:

Underworld - Born Slippy (1996)

Underworld - Moaner (1999)

Underworld - Sola Sistim (2002)

Apparently, Rick Smith and Karl Hyde are still together as Underworld, after a few years off and releasing solo albums.
And they have an upcoming album "Barbara Barbara, We Face a Shining Future", coming out March 18th, 2016. You can preview it here:

Meanwhile, Squarepusher's brother is still churning out tunes under the moniker Ceephax (formerly Ceephax Acid Crew), with his own unique hybrid style of chiptune, IDM and an occasional tinge of his brother's jazzy-ish style. Here's one of his better songs:

Born Slippy - now you're talking.

Second Toughest has to be one of my all-time favourite electronic albums. I don't hold out much hope for future albums from the pair though; the last few have been pretty pants, like Barking. They do still seem to get some good remixes though, with guys like Paul Woolford and Robag Wruhme doing the honours. The Riverrun Series was particularly good.

Always worth seeing live (Emerson usually rejoins them for a live set too) - in fact, I've seen Underworld live more than any other act. Best one I remember was in the fading light at Somerset House a few years ago. They ended the set with Moaner that night and it was just epic.
