I don't If anyone's reccomended this yet, but I think It sounds pretty awesome.

It is pretty awesome IMO. However, it is unfortunately Overwerks best song to this date; it's a stupid song to get hooked to, since it basically doesn't get better than that when it comes to him. Still keeping my hopes up, but his latest wasn't up to the task. Maybe some day he'll release something better..

I'll be the black sheep in head-fi with the fact that I do respect Skrillex. Some of the new artists just try to copy his style and sounds. Just look at the amount of topics around the internet "how do I sound like skrillex" etc. He has 'progressed' really far with dubstep as his main genre, and almost all of his songs turn out to be bangers.

He basically started his career as a bedroom producer, with blown KRK speakers, produced some insane tracks, and got famous etc. And no, i'm not a huge fan of him or anything. But to me he looks like a nice guy and doesn't deserve the hate.

Yea, Skrillex seems like a nice chap, and I've actually heard several times that he's a solid producer. But I just can't stand his style of music.

Hey guys just saw this thread and I figured "why not jump in?" lol. I'm really into Dubstep (Skream, Kode9, Digital Mystikz) but I want to get into more DnB. I have one song by Netsky and one song by Mistabishi. Can any of you guys introduce me to other artist like these? Also I like the song "Slap" by Umek and was wondering for the same thing for Techno has well. Thank You!

If DnB is the one you want to get into here's a nice little list...

DJ Fresh
Evol Intent
Noisia
Spor
Netsky
Logistics
London Elektricity
Pendulum
Black Sun Empire
Camo & Krooked
Limewax
Concord Dawn
High Contrast
Metrik
Sub Focus
Brookes Brothers
Danny Byrd
Xilent

Just to start'cha out, of course. :D There's a ton of different types there.

EDIT: I'd strongly recommend the Hospitality compilation albums. They've been doing a lot lately (Sub 150, Hospitality 2010, 2011, 2012, 15 Years of Hospital Records). They're cheap and there's a ton of good stuff on them.

I was wondering if I could get some suggestions for new artists to check out.  Pretty much the only artists I listen to in this genre would be Figure, Zomboy, and Mord Fustang.  Out of the three Figure is definitely my favorite, and I'd like some suggestions based on this song.

Well, just so we don't argue, sorry about getting my jimmies rustled (hehe).
I listened to that LP you posted a couple pages back, I liked most of the songs on it.
Here's some more deep stuff:

These were all excellent especially the first. Sounds sooo good on HD800.

Hey guys thanks for the artist suggestions. Now I have one for you guys, my roommate is a producer himself goes by the name of Summit, and I think you guys should check him out! He has 3 EPs out and also some of his work is on Soundcloud! He's really good and really loves his work. He's mostly a DnB guy but makes some Dubstep as well.

So basically, you're into electro influenced stuff, I can dig it.

Knife Party, Porter Robinson, Popeska, Delta Heavy, and a few others might suit your tastes.

Anybody hear this? Can't wait:

Also stoked for new Netsky stuff, I love this:
