The new player looks pretty good. Definitely better than all the previous models.

Wow. I would love this player so hard. I love the looks (even if it a test device), especially since I can't afford the 3rd ANV right now ^_^

just noticed that it also looks like a Teclast X30. not completely the same though! I wonder if the NOVA or X30 is an OEM from somewhere

Different cases and port placements though certain aspects may be farmed out like most do. Sound like there will be an amp stage as part of the design as HISound likes to do so clearly different than the telcast.

I prefer buttons but this should be easier to navigate than a touchscreen. It should be rather intuitive to where the controls are relative to it's shape. Do we know if there is a bending of the panel or just light touch type of control? It does look good. I like buttons but own things without so I may have to give it a try.
I'm not exactly sure why they are opting for touchpad either. Maybe they are trying to appeal to a wider market? I know a big factor in the changes are stemming from some of the UI limitation of the previous models (not enough buttons to accommodate for all the changes needed).

Is that an SD card slot on the side? How many hours playtime? It's obviously playing FLAC from the included picture, obviously.
