I find the 6sn7 sockets to hold up very well but the 300b/px-4 sockets get loose quickly.
Just get a good RCA 5692 and forget about tube rolling ! . . .
Note false, but rolling is an irresistible game...RCA 5692..i have not this tube yet.....good !
A thing i would like to know. Since i've got my BA, i've falled into a kind of rolling addiction : I often roll my 6SN7 tubes several times a week for fun, to discover many tubes, for varying my listening. So, Is the yamamoto base are very strong and i can roll without asking me questions or do I have to be care, not to stretch the pins on the connecting plate yamamoto to avoid false connects in the future ?
You may find a home on the the Balancing Act Tube Rolling thread !

I would love to try the Vintage WE 300b. But they are so over priced. http://m.ebay.com/itm/311359550869
