Discovered the new Custom In-Ear Monitor Maker, Earwerkz, but wondering how their products are like?
Look no further than Earwerkz's entry into Kickstarter. Link HERE.

The Universal of their custom monitor, EP-II: EarWerkz Pro Class II.

Here's a summary of their Kickstarter project and goal.

Driver Configuration: Single High, Single Low. 2-Way, Passive Crossover Network.
Frequency Response: 20 Hz - 18 kHz
Impedance: 23 ohms @ 1 kHz
Sensitivity: 126 dB @ 1 kHz
Noise Isolation: 28 dB, +/-2 dB
Input Connector: 1/8" (3.5 mm) Gold Plated

The project is into its final stretch. If the goal is achieved in the remainder 9 days, from the kickstarter page, here's what the Supra IEM backers may look forward to:

Own the EarWerkz Supra at an sweet introductory price! Includes a set of the EarWerkz Supra, a personally signed thank you letter, custom name engraving on both sides, die-cut decal, microfiber cleaning cloth, black EarWerkz zipper pouch, Comply T-400 memory foam tips (S/M/L), and a acoustic bore cleaning tool. MSRP is $389.00!

Plus:

Stretch 1
Receive some Legendary treatment. Our flagship 7-way, 8 driver "Legend R" custom in-ear monitor boasts nothing but premium BLUE and GOLD Estron ESW Litz Stranded Wires internally and if we meet this stretch we will incorporate these amazing wires into ALL of the Supra's in this campaign.

Stretch 2
offer two different color shells, one for each side.

Final Stretch
Custom Cable, Estron Linum BaX cable! and a second set of Comply T-400 tips. So in total you'll receive 2x Small, 2x Medium, & 2x Large tips!

The BaX model acts like a "loudness" button! The highs and lows have been lifted which significantly improves the dynamic range of the IEM! Ultimately the lower the impedance on the IEMs the more influence the Linum® cable will have on the sound impression. Crosstalk is minimized on the Linum® BaX due to the dual twisted Linum® cables.
Linum® is based on es-Linum 6+ cable: - 6 litz conductors made up of 7 individual strands. Each strand is silver plated copper with enamel. It will not corrode or change colour - The strength comes from aramid fibres. Pull strength 60N ~ 13 Lb - The jacket is made from TPA. It is skin-friendly approved and UV stabilized, so it will not turn yellow if exposed to sunlight.

This is perhaps the best entry to let newcomers to great audio products and seasoned ones to have a taste of the latest (and maybe greatest) newcomer on the block, Earwerkz!

ps. Am one of the backers for this project. And proud owner of the Earwerkz Flagship custom, The Legend R(emastered).

note to moderator/administrator: this thread is purely to raise awareness of the new product. if there's any concerns, please pm me to make the necessary changes. thanks! :)

Yeah, people should be backing this up. Awesome customer service and Jack is quick to respond to any stupid questions and inquiries.
This is not just a new company trying to make a quick buck - it's a new company with years of experience in the field that treats the customers as family members and definitely deserves way more attention and support.

The relative lack of interest in these (backers) is somewhat puzzling.  Maybe interest will pick up after shotgunshane's forthcoming review.

It's not that puzzling rather just bad timing with another KS campaign going strong due to bigger discounts, number of drivers and alleged "revolutionary" technology and also a bunch of BF sales and deals. Anyway, one introductory campaign doesn't really make or break a company. The campaign has been funded and if the Supra delivers there will be reviews and sooner or later people will know about Earwerkz and the attention and interest will come.

shotgunshane's comparison between Supra and Rockets is out!

The stretch goals of this project are very promising - I am quite confident that backers would not be disappointed.

Disclaimer:  I am also one of the backers of the project :p

Glad to see a supra thread's been started! Cant wait for more people to start getting their hands on their own pair in the next few months and to see some pics and impressions!!

... about that final stretch though... people on the fence should definitely give a huge consideration to backing this!! As generous as the discounts for the supra already is... getting that final stretch is pretty game changing in terms of the savings involved in this!

The Kickstarter Project is done, target is met (overwhelmingly too), but that's not the end of the Supra story. :)

For those who missed the KS Supra, here's some good news from the Earwerkz team, quoted from the KS page:

The Supra Custom Universal is a re-engineered version of our Class II (EP-II/EH-II) in-ear monitor.
In 2015 we'll be replacing the Class II name with the Supra as it'll boast the same sound signature as it's KICKSTARTER counterpart.
MSRP on the Supra custom will be $429.00.
