I recently purchased the Tradutto but I'm afraid I'm going to have to return it. I needed something that supported DoP on coax but it doesn't. Apparently DoP is only supported via USB. It appears this DAC is primarily geared around USB and possibly Bluetooth (I didn't try it). As for the coax input (and I assume the same is true for the toslink), it seems like more of an afterthought as not only does it not support DoP but it doesn't show the sample rate/bit depth which is a real shame.

It's the retail price in Canada I'm interested in. And LDAC confirmation.

A little late but it didn't work for me with my Samsung Galaxy S23. However, my S23 does support LDAC with my Hifiman Ananda-BT and FiiO BTR7. So for me that's a no. Other thing I noticed similar to the COAX input and I assume TOSLINK input is that no details are shown regarding the connection such as the Bluetooth CODEC being used.

Hi all, I just joined HeadFi so catching up on some interesting threads. I totally agree that ASR is a biased site and a number of their members have nothing relevant to say except to parrot Amir’s views. Totally opposite to what a good forum is all about!
Fortunately when I was researching the Tradutto I saw their negative report but ignored it in favor of the others.
Tradutto is an excellent DAC very clean and accurate, however it does emphasize the bass a bit around 80-100 hz. That’s actually a benefit to my ears and helps bring out the bass in my HD-6XX’s and Hifimans.

So what’s your opinion of them?
I like this stack! Very usable design and the size is perfect for my desk.

It is not a stack that comes with a wow-factor that blows you away from day one. It just deliver clean, open sound no matter if I use IEM's, Grados or my DT1770. No coloring, no artificial bass or anything but very neutral and reference-like sound. Just what I like! The music just flows freely and effortless. I hear micro details in many places which gives it a nice air and soundstage that is really easy to listen to. The music does not press it self into your head but stay outside. This is important for me and of course that also depends on the headphones. But it feels super fast, dynamic and ultra sharp. Bass is tight and punchy when needed in a real lifelike way. Midrange is clear and open. There is nothing more I could with for anywhere. So I an SUPER happy I got this great set for such a good price.

As someone who has been using Meier Amps for a lifetime, I like that the CH-Amp is almost in the same sound-style as the Meier Classic + Daccord which I sold after having it as my reference for many years.
One thing I do miss is the Crossfeed function from the Meier amp for longer listening sessions to avoid listening fatigue. And listening fatigue from time to time is an issue for me with the CH-Amp+Tradutto with some recordings. There is something with the Treble sometimes that will sound a bit irritating after listening for longer sessions. I am not sure if it is just because some recordings are "exposed" as being bad with the very detailed sound of the CH-Amp or if it is because it is an amplifier being very analytical and lacking some warmth.

I can easily live with that. It is a minor thing. But I am considering buying a Meier Jazz just to see if it really is the Crossfeed that helps with listening fatigue. But all in all I am very happy with my purchase.

Hello everyone,

We’d like to let you know that EarMen products are currently on sale — not because they aren’t great, but because we’re making room for new models. And to make space for new products, we first need to let go of the old ones.

Tradutto is still an exceptional product, and only a few units remain — available either on our website or on Drop. Some dealers might still have a piece or two in stock as well — for example, Bloom Audio.

We’re getting ready to launch an exciting new lineup of EarMen products, and L-AMP will be one of the first releases in this next generation.

So don’t miss the chance to grab a high-end product at a discounted price — opportunities like this don’t come around often!
