EarMen ST-Amp is a Fully Balanced Desktop Headphone Amplifier with the Pre Amp option and integrated DAC. It has extrodinary sound, whether it is listened to from an integrated DAC or an external, which is great news for all those who want to have everything in one device. The amplifier is carefully made for headphones, so you can not experience unpleasant Pop and Click phenomena when turning it on or off.

Fully Balanced
The amplifier is fully balanced, so your every sound from the input will become even cleaner and better, but that's not all. We use the exact same topology for SE signals, so they become Balanced in a special way with almost no phase shift, additional noise or THD, which is great news because the sound from the SE output does not lag behind the sound from the Balanced output.

The headphones output are powered by two TPA6120 operational amplifiers, which have proven to be excellent in the audiophile world. To make the experience complete, we use a high-quality balanced ALPS potentiometer that contributes to the sound remaining unchanged, and the user satisfied during use.

Sound
ST-AMP affects the sound so that your DAC can be heard better. Although many DACs have excellent specifications, it is not enough for the sound to fully express itself. ST-AMP fully utilizes the maximum dynamics provided by the sound source, so you will not be deprived of any detail. In addition, it very easily controls various headphone drivers, thus improving accuracy, neutrality and transparency.

Amazing Dynamics
Dynamic range above >126dB will guarantee you liveliness and musicality that will allow you to never have the feeling that you are missing something. With perfectly balanced sound and incredible dynamics, you will have the feeling of being in a concert hall.

Pre Out Option
On the back panel of the device we have SE and BAL Pre-Out outputs. This option allows the user to use the ST-Amp as a DAC and preamplifier for a much more powerful system.

Source of your choice
The sound source can be chosen according to your choice. Analog input or Digital/Integrated DAC gives you the freedom to listen to your favorite music from any source.

Ultra Low THD
Low Total Harmonic Distortion is such an important feature and as such we take it very seriously. ST-Amp has Very low Total Harmonic Distortion which will allow you higher power factor, lower peak currents, and higher efficiency without distortions

Power Supply
At the heart of the device itself is a noiseless linear power supply with great stability, so it can easily provide enough power even for the most demanding headphones. Apart from the special topology of the amplifier, the power supply is worthy of excellent characteristics even at full power, which is often not the case with most amplifiers, so in their specifications you can find measurements but at half power.

Composite Amplifier Topology
A Composite Amplifier Topology is implemented in the CH-Amp. Composite op-amp brings the best of both worlds with excellent DC and AC characteristics. These amplifiers offer several advantages over other types of amplifiers.

Power amplifiers typically use thermal feedback loops, thus causing serious errors while driving heavy loads. These errors occur due to self-heating. The use of the composite can remove such errors and improves the performance of the circuitry. The composite amplifiers also offer better DC output-offset. The excess of the load placed on the output transistors does not affect offset voltage.

Design
We used WIMA capacitors as well as audio electrolytes in combination with MELF low noise resistors and SoundPlus OPA1642 operational amplifiers which proved to be great for getting neutral sound. EarMen CH-Amp has excellent characteristics, very low signal-to-noise ratio, and THD, excellent frequency response and a lot of power where the characteristics of the device are changed very little even at high loads.

Fully balanced architecture
EarMen CH-Amp is a fully Balanced Headphone Amplifier which means that the balanced outputs from the source go to the output intact, only amplified. From the Single-end input, the signals are converted to balanced without phase shift (phase imbalance), so that the obtained + and - signals are perfectly in phase. In this way we remove unwanted forests and prevent them from being added inside the device.

Sound

Nirvana proves that bass performance from headphones can match the quality and the quantity of bass-via-massive-woofers. No loss of details, perfect clarity, precision and airiness with all the headphones plugged into it. In the matter of sound, Nirvana represents a blend of Auris Ha2 and Headonia amplifier, in the way that it takes the best of both. Technology

In technological terms, Nirvana qualities are reflected in:
* Carefully selected and pre-tested tubes - should last for 10.000 hours. It is powered by iconic EL34 by Electro Harmonix, a most common pentode found in British amplifiers. The drive tube is ECC82 by Tung- Sol, popular in audio world as low-noise tube for most popular amplifiers circuits.
* Transformers - manually wound on double C core and manufactured in-house in compliance with strictly defined requirements.
* High quality components - branded Mundorf, Rubicon, Wima etc..
