Two posts earlier Jul 16 & Sep 6 from Miroslav reference LDAC.

Other material doesn't reference LDAC.
So I'm looking for functional confirmation.

What was your all-in cost for the Tradutto in Alberta? From whom did you order?
It was a review unit...don't know whether it was shipped from Serbia or the US...and the price is confidential. The company took care of most of the import charges.

We would like to inform you that our partner for Canada is Motet Distribution and that the first quantity of Tradutto has just arrived and is in stock in Canada.
You can contact them by e-mail: info@motetdistribution.com
Thank you Miroslav.

Please, does the Tradutto support LDAC, or no?
Information posted here and online is contradictory.

Dear members,

We would like to inform you that we are forced to react to the inaccurate measurements of Tradutto, which were performed by reviewers who want exclusively, for reasons unknown to us, to damage our reputation.

EarMen as the responsible company carefully tests all devices, even twice, before they end up in the box, and therefore the warranty on the product is 2 years, which is more than some others.

As one of the few who accept our mistakes, we cannot remain silent about the inaccurate information that is placed on some forum. That is why we decided, as a company that is proud of its work, effort and has nothing to hide, to publish the results of the real measurement.

* Audio Precision APk515 analyzer was used to perform the analysis.

Thank you for your understanding.

ASR are absolutely unreasonable. They did this with AudioQuest DragonFly Cobalt, too. There is a thread on another forum evaluating ASR itself. Their SINAD method is of very limited use.

https://www.headphones.com/communit...d-news/evaluating-sinad-why-its-not-important

Schiit sales took a big hit because of ASR. Some of their newer products optimized for good SINAD measurements are reported to sound terrible.

There is also suspicion ASR are paid off by Topping and SMSL. The problem is that measurements of a steady-state sine wave do not characterize music. There are tricks to produce good measurement results, but this compromises sound quality.

ASR fail to correlate sound quality with their measurements, it is a pure belief system. To get around the measurement argument, listening as a means of evaluating sound quality is dismissed. Amir is the most ignorant person in this business.

That stuff that measures well on ASR is typically sterile and analytical sounding.

If you don't agree with the ASR crowed, you get herd bashed.

On the other hand, I don't think EarMen will be suffering's much from ASR's measurements, as their disciples are content with $150 DACs,which, in their opinion, are the best :).

Infinitus est numerus stultorum!
