Hi there! My job requires me doing a lot of calls. I have a trusty old Sennheiser on-ear headset with a superb mike at home, but it's too flimsy for travel, and it's connected through USB, so I can't use it from a phone (3.5mm jack).

I don't like talking with IEMs in, because of the in-head resonance. So I'd appreciate an earbud for this use case. I've bought the VE Monks; while decent for music playback, the mike doesn't quite cut it.

The budget is 50 EUR, which could be stretched to 100 EUR if needed. Comfort or playback quality are not very important, but a good microphone is essential.

Any experience, or suggestions?

Hi @Tadeas,

Not sure about earbud or eaphone style, I use something like Plantronics Voyager headset, I have used them for years no problem, outstanding microphone so it fits your requirements.

Hope you have a great day !

Thanks PaganDL. I've had a look at Plantronics Voyager, but unfortunately it's way out of my budget. It could be a great main device, but I'm looking for a backup, that would work be fit for travel, too.
