Just set it to bit perfect. That's what I have done. When I had questions in the beginning I always got quick answers from the developer himself. There is also a good forum about the E1DAs on Discord.I tried Neutron, but wasn't able to set output frequence same as input 44,1kHz.
I have E1DA 9038D6K and use it with dunu falcon pro. It sounds boring as hell. I hate when I use it. Is there any way to make it sound more musical, amusing and warmer with Tweak9038 app?

Can't really imagine what you are talking about. My E1DA sounds absolutely gorgeous, it's totally neutral, no "sound signature". But you could ask about this in the Discord app. All kinds of users there and so is the inventor of the dongle, Ivan. Good luck! You can add harmonics/"good" distortion with the Tweak app if you want.I have E1DA 9038D6K and use it with dunu falcon pro. It sounds boring as hell. I hate when I use it. I feel E1DA is boring with my Moondrop S8. Most of time I don't mind and enjoy the neutrality and extension. I don't feel it with Olina or Kxxs. Playing with filters through Tweak9038 helps a bit.I have E1DA 9038D6K and use it with dunu falcon pro. It sounds boring as hell. I hate when I use it. But I must also mention that S8 sounds the best with E1DA out of all DAPs I've tried.

Edit: I should add, I would suffer the music stopping issue at times too, if the usb connection to the dap or extension cable gets jostled when walking or moving it around. That's the only criticism to the setup overall.
I have this same issue on my laptop w/ PowerDAC v2.1. The USB is very sensitive to movement, which I attribute to my cheap arse laptop. It's ghetto but I ended up taping the input cable to my desk to prevent movement. problem solved ...
I still love my PDv2.1 and wouldn't trade it for anything.

On PD V2, there was talk of a hiss with very high sensitivity IEM. Mine are 119 dB (36 Ohms), and I do have problem on older DAC with headphone output.
Does anyone know if this was solved on the PD V2.1? Or is the hiss with high sensitivity IEM still there?

It is still there very easily solved with one of these. Works really well. I bought the 100ohm 2.5mm balanced version for the Fiio FD5 IEMs, but looks like they don't do that one any more. Simple impedance adapter only works well if you have a single driver headphone. If you have multi-driver headphone with crossover, better get the iFi IEMatch.

Interesting think:. My balanced gen3 E1DA is good for demanding (ear)phones (with powerbank), because they can draw as much energy from powerbank as they need. Which cannot be said of most Daps.

Does size matter? ... got Gen 3 Susumu but it drains battery from my mobile way too fast as most batteryless USB dacs do, otherwhise it is best in its category price-performace wise. I have tried all latest Dragonfly from audioquest and ifi go bar and I would def go with this little thing. BTR7 is now my daily driver yet I always carry 9038S as a backup. two headphones from Koss through Drop .... cult stuff for audio nerds.

Yes.
The new 9038D6K is now available on AliExpress!
Here are the changes:
-6mF capacitance for power rail filtering (2mF more than the original 9038D)
-Even lower noise and distortion. 126dB(A) Dynamic Range,
-120dB THD+N unloaded
-Headsets can now be plugged directly into the DAC. No adapter required. (Remote and mic will not work)
-EMI noises from LTE/4G/5G are slightly reduced
