New Head-Fier
Are the stock pads like the stock hd 6xx ear pads comfort? Both seem to have a similar opening.
The HD6XX is a little deeper and larger circumference around the ear, and more comfortable IMO (probably the most comfortable headphones I’ve ever owned). I was actually kinda surprised to see how small the openings to the EMU pads were as they do look larger in pictures. I had to kinda get used to the fit as they almost wear like an on-ear. That said, I still find them comfortable. The pad material feels nice and cushy. Are the stock pads like the stock hd 6xx ear pads comfort? Both seem to have a similar opening.
Connector as in the piece that connects the cups to the headband? Or the cable connectors?I noticed the left side of my teaks connector wobble. Is anyone else’s teaks like that?
The cable wobbles, I switched the right side to the left side to see if it’s the cable and it did the same thing.Connector as in the piece that connects the cups to the headband? Or the cable connectors?
Hello,
I actually use the Audio Technica R70x. Some years ago I had the Denon 7000. What is the better deal? The Denon 5200 for 380 € or the Teak für 550 € and could the Teak be an upgrade in comparison with the R70x? I only read about the sweating problem. Is that still a point?
I swapped the stock cable for a Fantasia hd700 one and the wobble is much less now plus the stock one is trash. Way too much microphonics. It’s nothing to worry about.Just got these. Both cable connectors are wobbling/rattling little bit. More on the right side. Something to worry about? Loving the sound.
Was wondering if the zmf pads are worth it to keep close to stock sound. There's a lot of great options for the Teaks. Some stuff on Amazon (just search emu teak pads). I have the ZMF Ori pads and they work great.
If comfort is your thing, then yes. I didn't notice a huge difference in sound. Was wondering if the zmf pads are worth it to keep close to stock sound.
