the felt I used is simply cleaning cloth called "wettex" in Europe; some similar stuff will made the same effect, a more less inner diameter of the ring increases bass to enormous levels ..(gets too much than for me .. ) Like this now I love the dekonis with the teaks a lot :) :) :)

Maybe you get even better results with your material, the mod is really simply, almost for free and not a ridiculous costly lawton mod (maybe they are outstanding good - for the cost of a further phone haha)

yes, i think exactly the same. The bad part are the waiting for the drop of the pads and the additional time for shipment. But i think will be worth the effort.

One of the cups on my Emu Teams came loose. How do you tighten it to prevent the wobble?

Also, are there any mods to make them isolate better? Or is my dream of taking them on flights a lost cause?

I would suggest to screw it on but very gentle ...if its screwed on too hard it may crack in dryer athmosphere like in a plane .. if the the cups are fixed kind of sensitive the E-MU can fly with you without danger
If you isolate it more the sound will change for sure .. quite sure not to better

... meanwhile I use Dekoni Sheepskin again without the attenuation Ring ..at the moment I like it on the more neutral Side :)
without the ring the highs for me however observe a layer of toiletpaper to dampen a bit

They are perfect other than a tiny 1cm scratch. They sound amazing. Big bass. I tried them for a couple of metal tracks and some hip hop. Amazing for both. How do you put pictures up on head fi?
