Just found this thread after looking into getting the Ibasso DX-90.

Found this battery on Amazon that is 3800mAh and same size as the original Samsung S3 battery. What do you guys think?

I just bought one for my DX90 today.  I'll let you know how it works-out.  If it's top-shelf, or pants...

A bit late on the response, but I've been running the battery through its paces, and it really doesn't seem to perform any different than the original battery did...

Even with different headphones, I don't hear any significant change in sound signature as some have claimed, nor am I experiencing consistent extended battery life.

So it's fine as a spare battery to keep the music going if that is what you are seeking, but look elsewhere for great changes in battery duration or sound signature is my recommendation.
