I would be very, very surprised if your WiFi extender is causing noise on your device. Just to test this: I held my DX340 next to my WiFi AP...no increase/change in noise pattern (not a super scientific test, I know). Yes wireless interference is real, we most certainly have all experienced this with our mobile phones in the past (especially Nokia's). But as far as I can tell, it's the WiFi modem in the DX340 (primarily) causing the problems with the AMP14 card, not your networking equipment (not directly). Is the noise still there if you disable WiFi on your device?Yes (about the pre-buffering of chronological songs when streaming)….unless you’re the kind of streaming individual that jumps around a lot on the streaming site, only playing the most popular songs from each album….the software never can pre-buffer the proper next track if you’re selecting a new track seconds before your current track is finished (that’s me).I do try to look for new tracks while listening to my current track so I can queue up the next track, but I get so mesmerized into the current track, I forget about queuing up the next track(s) I want to hear.
My WiFi extender creates noise that doesn’t get drowned out during play…I can hear the popping/clicking/jitter noises while playing music.
Update: it's not easy to check the WiFi signal quality on the DX340. In case you have ADB installed, you could try: adb shell dumpsys wifi | grep signalStrength The closer to zero...the harder the WiFi modem has to work (mine is at -52)
