I would word it slightly differently. I would say Amp15 LO adds/subtracts "something". The Amp14 completely bypasses the NuTube in LO. You can see this in the schematic and also on a DX320, you can see the NuTube doesn't even turn on using LO. We haven't seen the schematic on the Amp15 but if you hear a difference, then it's the Amp 15 design.

Thanks for the important addition and yes, the difference in sound is there, so Kudos to the AMP15 to pair so well with the EA4 (in my view).

I think you couldn't hear any difference in LO between Amp 12 and 14 back in your DX320 impression. If true I would be curious to know if you hear LO differences between Amp14 and 15 on a DX340. I was wondering if Amp 15 was a "true" line out or not.

I believe a few on the thread previously commented that Amp 15 was a Pre-Out in LO mode…you can change the output voltage by increasing/decreasing volume.

That's the same on the DX320 too. I imagine iBasso labeled the jacks as "LO" since "PO" was already used for headphone out.

My fiio rm13 remote control does not work correctly with ibasdo dx340. I can only control volume. Someone sed that this remote control skip tracks. But it doesn't on manga and uapp.

Some Head-Fiers were interested in knowing my opinion about the differences between the AMP14 & AMP15 via the LO of the DX340 to the L&P EA4.

I did some A/B comparisons and if I think that the AMP14 was slightly better than the AMP15 with the DX340 in standalone modus (for my taste), both AMP-Cards play at the same level with the EA4, yet with another flavor. The EA4 being already slightly colored, no matter how you set the switches, the AMP14 is adding another "coat of chocolate" on top, but it's not too much for me, because you can fine-tune this combo with different IC (I use an PW Orpheus IC, which is also warm sounding), and ofc, your transducers. Impressive is that I did not experience any loss in detail retrieval vs. AMP15. I really dig this combo, with its rich, warm, analogue and powerful sound. The AMP15 excels when paired with the EA4 anyway, some of you already know it. The AMP15 brings more balance into the sound (less thickness, more energy, a bit more bite, some more air on top) and I think that the EA4 is the perfect amp for the AMP15. I cannot take one AMP-Cards over the other here. I am glad I have both. Truly excellent transportable combo here.

I take this opportunity to share today's pictures of the DX340 and the L&P EA4 with their respective Jutem cases (navy blue). Looks and feels absolutely fantastic in real life. You know and you get what you pay for.

Totally agree that both cards shine in their own way with the EA4, and it’s awesome how you’ve dialed in your setup with the Orpheus IC too. That navy Jutem combo must be a stunner in person—stealthy but premium. Sounds like you’ve built one heck of a transportable endgame!

Agreed. The remote skip tracks only works with Mango player. Under Android only volume control or there is cursor/mouse option that can do clicks.

I figured out with fiio remote control rm13. Skipping track does't worked, because i dissabled side buttons of dx340.

If the side buttons are disabled when the screen is off, you need to wake the screen up (by pressing the Power button on the remote) before you can play/pause/skip tracks with it.

I just take a second here to once more state how the DX340 and the EA4 represent an amazing combo. Accurate and excellent EQ feature from the DX340, 4 switches to play with out of the EA4. A playground for life.
