Full steam ahead. As long as it doesn't take any of the magic away, I won't cry, lol.
Magics ? The magics are when applying Remko Tweaks ๐Ÿ˜†, just forget about firmware signatures in it entirety. Remko tweaks works the same and has the same signatures on all firmwares....well not exactly the same but what I meant is that the differences wont be noticable, even if you are veey critical and analyzing them as much as I do ๐Ÿฅฐ

And Remko Tweak at Max profiles just sounds AMAZING ! @Stouthart

Ordered amp14 from china about 10 days ago, there was no amp16, now I'm tempted to order amp16. Lol.

Do it. So you can compare the two for the rest of us. For scientific purposes! ๐Ÿง

I will take full responsibility sir. Itโ€™s insane how many people are digging it. If you do not love, I give you permission to yell at me at SoCal!
Yell at him, sell it to me.

If you intend to use Amp14 on your DX340, you need to buy the mounting plate for it.
Otherwise, you can't use it.

I am so happy to have my 340 back. I let this new unit burn for 5.5 hours on high gain and it only chewd 46% battery. I'm rocking it now with a little Dave Matthews and the Pilgrim Noir. I've never heard them this good, it's a stunning paring - expansive, genuinely holographic presentation. A blissful finish to the day

I just came across Alex quick view on Nunchaku from Canjam. It doesnt look as bad as people say it is, which hyped up my anticipating for amp16 even more. Especially with 12V external source and super gain

JUst check out all of the specs here

Also quick update about the Tweak, if you get can not resolve Host errors on windows = your dx340 doesnt connect to the internet !

Who says that the Nunchaku is bad? Most natural and organic sounding USB DAC dongle in the market without serious compromises in technicalities. Very low noise floor and not to add the versatility of the Class AB mode.

I read that some posts mentioned about how Raytheon tubes just has too much color in it, and the Nunchaku has that as well.

Anyways, I am back to my starting point as to when I was so hyped and anticipating the first heated element tubes from Ibasso and in a DAP.

Itโ€™s not bad. Just nothing special.

You tried with the Symphony cable? The added note weight and slight warmth is just perfect.

Think it's the stock Storm cable.

I just finished the debloating using the @Stouthart scripts. Such things are quite a struggle for me to figure out. I managed to get it done, then realised my firmware was still the OG and it won't update after the debloating is done. So, I hard reset and went through it again and everything worked out easy peasy.

I wasn't sure it's worth the effort. I tried such optimisations before and it didn't yield anything tangible. I didn't have any expectations here, maybe just a slightly better battery life? Wrong! There is an audible difference. The signature has not changed, but everything sounds grander, the positioning more obvious and precise, wide sounding IEMs sounds wider. No difference in the noise floor.

Oh la la. The Novus just walked through the door. The grand sound is going to get grander!
