I remember some reporting no difference with the DAC gain, but I heard an audible boost in higher frequencies. I'm pretty sure this was without Super Gain.
The boost is very mild when the Amp is set to Low, but becomes quite apparent when it's set to Medium. I don't have any headphones on me that required me to set the Amp to High, so can't comment on that.

Also, iBasso deserves all the praise for making this DAP have a butter-smooth UI. Long gone are freezes and crashes, and inconsistent touch input. The DX340 registers every touch, unlocks with no issues. We're catching up with smartphones, and I think we will soon see newer SoCs (even though they aren't necessary).

Appreciate the recommendation. But...I am not using most of these apps. Just installed them to check for any compatibility issues with my "Advanced Tweaking" script (none found). And - of course - to see if I can fulfill @Whitigir's wish for non-resampling Roon

Finally, my replacement DX340 arrives today, I've missed it! Let the set up, optimization and burning begin. While that plays out, I'll be looking forward the Amp 16 impressions from you all.

I have successfully applied the Advance Tweaking settings commands from the Github DX340 repository,

I can hear more low end extensions on both UAPP and Neutron player app.

I don't see a big enough hit on the battery life to bother me, what matters to me is sound quality on the go and this definitely had a noticeable effect.

I may go back to UAPP again on H5 filter, since there is more body in the lows now. My Elysian Apostle previously sounded better on Neutron player.

My AMP 16 card from Bloom has shipped. My DX340 is out with a friend at the moment but I’m looking forward to trying to all in due time.

I just ran it as well. Haven't touched any of the advanced tweaking options yet, but so far so good.
