Welcome :) I only beat you by a couple of days. Don't upgrade the FW right away. See how you like the original first. I am still on the original.

Here is some back story. When the Dx320 came out people loved the original firmware tuning. Next versions changed the tuning and some did not like it. There were some bugs so that made it inconvenient to stay on original version. To me the DX340 is perfect. Love how it is tuned right now. I will not try the upgrade until I have a Img FW to downgrade if I don't like the new tuning. With the holiday it will be weeks before I can get that.

I'm a rookie to this. How do you use this? I just use the DX340 on the standard BAL output.
Settings - > audio - > slide over DC-in Super Gain and set gain to high. You can only use while Amp plugged into Ac power. Wish we use on just battery power. Ask any questions you have.

Am I delusional? I feel like high-sensitive headphones and IEMs sound better on LO. Is there any formal proof to support this case? I asked this before on this forum, and was advised that it can not be the case, as LO output does not go through the amplifier stage.
There is no background noise, no clicking noise when switching between songs or albums, and it has a more apparent sound signature.

Careful not to blow off your sensitive iems in Lineout mode. One accident and you are done with your iems or even worse your ears.
