You will disappointed in the amp 15 that comes with the 340 if you prefer heavy bass. You can eq it and it sounds great it’s a very detailed amp. It will not be a plug and play using the built in player. You will want neuron or power amp. If you stream, there is a solution for eq for that but I cant remember what it’s called. The factory eq in mango is not system wide. You will definitely want to get the amp 16 if you want a plug and play. In saying this I tend to lean more towards heavy bass and boosted treble. All of this is very subjective, listen devices make a big difference. I use the performer 8s and their very bass light to begin with. Just based on your comment you will want to do some tuning via eq. You will not however be disappointed with the player overall.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.maxmpz.equalizer&hl=en_US Maybe? I use Wavelet for system wide. Amp15 in SG along with Wavelet and bass great along with micro details and wonderful large stage.

For others: I have to use BT while I am working with my phone and its like torture because DX340 sounds so much better. You can't mod the DAC chip but AMP can be. DAC in 340 is TOP NOTCH. Maybe AMP17/18 will improve this but Ibasso generally sticks to neutral tuning which is fine with me because EQ/PEQ can fix things to my preferences. IEM used will of course be a huge factor. Bass light IEM is not going to sound bassy. For SG yes get a power bank and/or LPSU. Grid power sucks for noises etc. 2 pounds (DX340 and portable power bank) is worth the awesome SQ with DX340. I keep both in a pouch and only wire that sticks out is IEM cable. Only place I won't take it is the beach because of the sand.

The AMP14 is fantastic with the DX340. Very natural timbre and dead silent with the Meze Poet.

Just trained Bloom on how to flash Ibasso Daps. They were able to fix some that they had. I did ask about the tariffs and was told likely prices will be going up because of them. If you want a DX340 now would be a good time to buy one. Headamp.com gets their units from Bloom so they are covered by warranty if Bloom is out of stock. I thought they were not a legal seller but are.

Hi, can I use DX340 as a usb DAC to my S25 Ultra phone. Will I be able to use it as a bluetooth DAC as well. My point is to take advantage of this powerhouse along with the S25 ultra as my source. Both wired and wireless.
From DX340 Manual, page 59:
Settings>Bluetooth DAC:
"After turning on the Bluetooth DAC, Bluetooth devices such as a mobile phone can be paired with the DX340. The DX340 can now stream from the connected Bluetooth device. Note: When in Bluetooth DAC mode, the DX340 supports AAC and SBC."

As for USB DAC, maybe not with a phone, but not 100% sure.
The manual says: "Connect the DX340 to a Windows PC or a Mac computer to work as a USB DAC."

Is it ok to use this kind of cable with a powerbank capable of 20V ? (Anker 737)
If its a PD power bank you should it should be capable of 12V out. Normally 5,9,12 maybe 15 and normally 20. The cable will have to have the correct chip to tell the power bank to only deliver 12 V. If it does not have this chip, I believe it will not start the charging process at all on PD chargers. I use this one it works fine. However most likely you will have issue charging the 340 on the anker 737. Ive tested it as well as Bloom Audio. There are issues with the higher output PD banks and bricks from some companies. I have most all anker stuff and about 2 3rd of there products just put the 340 into a charge loop and never stay on. The USB A to usb c works to charge fine. But c to c utilizing PD standards you will probity have issues. I haven't had any issues with the cable I have had some times my battery pack will drop the charge because either the pull is too low or some other reason, im not quite sure. I have to bump the volume up and it will continue to work. My 737 is on its way back from Bloom as I type this. I would suggest getting a usb tester or a voltmeter and just check the voltage output on anything you use if its not the supplied adapter as a CYA.

I am sitting here, half bored, thinking I have heard it all. What's going to impress me? Amp14 and Novus. Bloody hell.
