The two aren't mutually exclusive. Your reset was probably unnecessary. What you should have done was backed out of usb dac mode and then checked to see if the output was set to LO.It was in usb dac. Tried on diff laptop but same issue.

I run drills here doing it. Got it down to 1 minute 22 seconds. LOL I have taken the back off and the batter out and it take just a couple of minutes. Really nice!Oh nice, I remembered you took them too!
It really looks like a 5 minute job to replace the battery
You can always buy many different things from ibasso
Would the DX300 Max custom cases fit the DX320 Max Ti?
and possible to purchase a spare from ibasso?
You can't get quiet enough on the gain setting of 1?Will there ever be a mode to reduce power output to have better volume control? For more sensitive IEMs it can be difficult finding a volume that isn’t too quiet or too loud.
Same, I also have problems with this. Is it possible to add digital volume control or something on the next firmware. Will there ever be a mode to reduce power output to have better volume control? For more sensitive IEMs it can be difficult finding a volume that isn’t too quiet or too loud.
The new FW will have an adjustment for the PCM in the digital sector but not the DSD. The chip does not allow for adjusting the volume of the DSD output.Same, I also have problems with this. Is it possible to add digital volume control or something on the next firmware.
