I plan on it. I was going the dongle route, but this and the Sony walkman around the same price have perked my interest. I use Apple Music (lossless & hi-res), so streaming support is essential. One thing I shouldn't have disregarded is that this is a very healthy resale community. As niche as it is. Always have to remind myself that when taking the plunge for the more expensive gear.
FYI, I owned a DX200 (which should be running android 8.0 as I remember), a DAP released 5 years ago, till Mar this year. Apple Music worked on it without problem, although the UI is a little bit laggy due to the hardware power. At least it worked better than my iPad mini 6 for Apple Music.

Given DX320 is Android 11, I guess it would work for at least 4 - 5 years.

Waiting for some Cayin N8ii comparisons as soon as more DX320 hit in the wild. Drivability is important. The ability to drive IEMs as well as headphones. By drive I am referring to authority, not increased volume.

The SP2000 had 6Vrms balanced in comparison, I saw this has slightly over 7Vrms. Is that correct?

Better you buy the new one with 15 Vms 🤣🤣🤣
Its not a bad idea for someone who wants to have all in one, for both earbuds and full-size headphones. And it seems even more portable than the actual Kann Alpha. Not to mention the m17:)
It has quad ESS ES9038Q2M, 32-bit/768kHz and DSD512.

On the DX320 coaxial output, can I simply connect it to my Kef LS50 Wireless II coaxial input and play lossless/hires offline files from Apple Music? This will cement my decision to purchase this PMP. Apple Music is not streaming lossless via Airplay 2 currently. I've been listening off my Apple TV for lossless.

I don’t see why not, as long as you have the cables

But you can drive with DX 320 specially with amp 12 also nearly everything. And i think the sound from DX 320 with ROHM chips is much better then with the ESS. Ok i tell sure i not like so much the sound from ESS.
