Apart from volume, I have all the side controls turned off as I was skipping or pausing accidentally when retrieving it from my pocket 😁
If this is a problem and you want to have the buttons turned on, the 3rd party TPU case makes it (almost) impossible to accidentally press buttons. All of the 1st party cases, whether that be the leather ones, or the TPU ones make it too easy to press those buttons on accident (IMO).

You are correct, these buttons press in the case to easy even on my desk if I'm handling the player lightly. But its nice to have it.

Oh yeah, it doesn't even have to be in my pocket to accidentally press a button I just pick it up from anywhere above the bottom third to get an accident... haha

The only thing I don't like about the 3rd party TPU case for this is that there is no cutout for the SD card slot. I share a 1TB card between my DX and the DX160, so that makes it relevant to me, but that may not matter to others... :)

Sounds like you need another card. Maybe a cheaper 512gig with select to go songs. They are cheap these days.

I probably SHOULD do that, but I hate feeling like I might be missing something. Lol I have already done just that with my Shanling M0. I really don't mind switching back and forth, it is just a pain with that one TPU case.

I been thinking maybe you may know. Lately I was trying to record something and realize wait a minute, I got nothing even with all my gear.

Most of these player we pay soooo much for are missing features built in or i'm missing something. Ibasso DX300/DX320 does not have a "RECORD" feature or line in does it? I would love this feature for studio use. You would think someone would implement it to have one up over the others.

Do you or anyone know if any Daps have a line in or record feature?

That is a good point, nor do they have built in speakers to listen to playback (though I can totally live without that one personally). I know that most of the Sony DAPs have this functionality. Whether they still do I don't know.

Do you turn the DX320 off at night? If not, how long does the battery take in standby? What is the battery life with the latest fw and the AMP11MK2s? Thanks

Now with 2.06 fw stand by consumption is almost equal zero even over night.

Sony daps have record or line in? the only sony i have left is the Nw-ZX300 I don't recall seeing recording.

I was hoping with fingers crossed an all in one dap would have this feature for what they cost these days but none so far i know of. I keep getting the feeling we keep paying more and keep getting less. But i may just get a Sony or Zoom or Tascam. Just tired of more and more separate devices.

I miss the old school Walkmans, they did it all with play/record/radio/line in

How are you liking the sound signature of 2.0.6 and what headphones are you using with it?
I didn't listen to the previous versions, can't help you with that. However, the sound comparing to the dx300 is different. I hear more detail focused approach with more high mids and more layered and pronounced treble.
