Haven’t heard the DX320 but I have an idea of ROHM DAC’s signature. Depending on iBasso’s implementation and above early impressions it’s similar with what I’ve heard in N8ii - transparent quality and large soundstage. Other aspects of the N8ii are dependent on various settings from gain, power mode, timbre (SS or tubes) and amp (A or AB)Both maybe ?
Have over 160 hours on N8ii so far among my other stack of “bricks”

All excellent considerations.

I have an iBasso DX240 and an Amp 8 on the way. I wonder I'd I should look at the 320?

But it can also make things go 'wrong' ...
Is the MangoOS exactly the same on the dx320 as on the dx300? And I assume the only differences are the snappier OS?I guess I should add that the interface is also snappier than with the DX300, in both Android and Mango modes.
Just set it to run for an hour on Mango at normal listening level. I'll let you know what the percentage drop is @German Expat in Vietnam
I was really hoping MangoOS would get updated. Fiio's music app/OS on the m17 was miles better than MangoOS in terms of pure user-interface when I had a chance to test them out.

Even if it's the same Mango OS as it is on the DX 300 now, I don't care. Never had problems with MOS. For me the sound is more important, that it doesn't get too hot and the battery life. But that seems to be ok for the fact that the 2 Rohm converters are under the hood. And the series amp also seems to have better and more power than amp 11.2. In any case, Expat.in Japan noticed it immediately. So everything was fine.Is the MangoOS exactly the same on the dx320 as on the dx300? And I assume the only differences are the snappier OS?

Incredibly enlightening to hear that it sounds tight and speedy. This is exactly the description that I was looking for as the dx300 is quite "gentle" for my taste.Via twitter from the Japan show last Friday
Will look forward to purchasing it once available!

Whoa Whoa, a DX320?
I didn't know about this, this totally blew right past me.
Are the chassis dimensions gonna be the same?
Could I just use my current AMP12W for the newer DX320?

Did you burn in the DAP at all before the show? I ran our demo DX320 overnight with planars to really work it out. I think the "hard" or "stiff" sound was gone by the time I got around to critical listening.Via twitter from the Japan show last Friday
